Taiwan is best country in the world.👏 We have a lot to learn from Taiwan. For example, 🇹🇼Taiwan's plastic bottle recycling rate has reached 94%. In 🇯🇵Japan, it is only 87%. It's better than the 🇪🇺EU 30% 🇺🇸USA 18%, but we still have to improve.

The reason you can't bring so many kinds of foods to Taiwan because of African swine fever virus and fruit parasites, in late 90s Foot-and-mouth disease almost had destroyed Taiwanese pig farming and pork export had been banned for 20 years. After 2018 African swine fever virus break out in East Asian, Taiwan take it very serious then made strict laws on customs. Fruits export also takes big part of Taiwanese agricultural trade.

Taiwan is significantly influenced by U.S. culture, though this is often overlooked. For many years, Taiwan ranked first among countries sending students to the United States. Many of these students returned to Taiwan to hold key positions. There was also a time when most TV programs and movies in Taiwan were U.S. productions, as Chinese and Japanese content were banned. Today, U.S. cultural influence in Taiwan is evident in its inclusive attitude towards immigrants and minorities, its tolerance for individualism, openness to strangers, and the greater freedom given to children. These traits are distinctly different from those of China or Japan.

I’m a Taiwanese and some people are completely wrong about China and Taiwan. First of all, thanks for this video! It's so well made! Here's some facts for y'all: People’s republic of China aka China (PRC)(founded in 1949) has never ruled Taiwan in any form Taiwan aka republic of China (ROC) which is founded in 1911 These are two different countries and what China is trying to do is not “unifying” but “invading” China has been trying to twist "One China Policy" to let people all over the world believe this is actually an unsolved problem within one country and this is exactly why we need to address this issue more and more because once everyone in the world starts to view this as some unfortunate conflict, it gives China a legit reason to invade and claim it as a civil war to prevent other countries from helping Taiwan when it's in need. China has its own rich cultures and great people and I have no doubt that it'd be a fun trip to China but when it comes to politics, people need to be more alert and know that propaganda is so real and Taiwan needs the world to fight it together. Taiwan faces up to 6 million cyber attacks from China "per day" and I could confirm it's really bad Not to even mention how China brainwashes their people with hatred for USA, Japan, Korea and other countries. Anyways, welcome to give it a visit to Taiwan when you have a chance and I think the best time of the year to visit will be from May to July and October to May (Summer is simply too hot but mango is so good during that time lol)

2021 Pew Reserch Center asked " what makes life meaningfull?" In 17 countries. Most countries ranked FAMILY as the top importance. Only Taiwan chose SOCIETY for their number 1. Maybe that's the reason why Taiwanese are willing to help strangers.

i don t care who is right but would be a shame if china overtakes taiwan ... we all see what happened to tibet and hong kong....the uniqueness and mentality would get lost ...
  • @yfh.3010
The way you describe Taiwan kinda makes me feel uncomfortable. It’s always linked to the US and China, without making Taiwan itself as a whole subject. Something like that.
  • No one has thought about this yet; send delegates of DPP, KMT to China, open seats for CCP in Taiwan. Equal Opportunity, Equal Rights. I bet my ass the CCP would not allow that. CCP does not represent China, because it is not a Monarchy. Taiwan does not belong to China, because throughout history, the dynasties never proactively defend and manage the Islands. True history, when Flying Tigers were formed to help the young Republic Of China, Mao Zedong was studying the works of Karl Marx in the dirt cave somewhere in the north. There was, not even one military confrontation with Japanese forces throughout the 8 years of struggle. However, Mao lead the lower class, students revolted against the KMT-led force and taken everything right after WWII. Both KMT, CCP, were like warlords, at the fall of Qing Dynasty. Chinese think-tank always evolved around Monarchy, because the sycophantic scholars knew, true Democracy would lead to their personal demises. Long Live Democracy, Respect The Sovereignty of Taiwan Islands.

Taiwan: A Blend of Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.
  • @robertos4876
Taiwan is a country formed by the islands of Formosa, Pescadores and Sprately's which used to be part of Japanese territory until 1952 when Japan renounced all claims over these islands. General Douglas MacArthur, the Supreme Commander of the Pacific Theater ordered and transported Chinese contingents of Allied Forces to occupy Formosa and Vietnam upon Japanese retreat and set up a temporary administration on behalf of the Allies.
  • Being a Taiwanese, it is interesting to see how you present Taiwan. Good job and thank you.
  • @INFP-T50
The indigenous people of Taiwan are the same ethnic group as those in the Philippines. Their land has been taken by a large number of Chinese immigrants.
