I think the video is intended to show quiet confidence. The hype of the dancers and crowd is contrasted by Kendrick's calm demeanor, which just accentuates how light this whole beef was for him, while at the same time putting the world on storm. There are also plenty of hidden details in each shot that just add to the disses (Whitney wearing the wife beater while dancing, Kendrick mocking Drake's ig L dance, hopscotch on A minor, shipping containers, probably more idk).
