My $15 garage sale igloo ice chest works fine, ice lasts 5 days, I never camp longer than that. I really thought about one of these then realized I don't need one. Maybe if I was going out for two weeks but then it won't hold enough food so I have to go to the store anyway so I might as well get ice while I'm there and I don't need a battery or solar to run the ice chest.

I used my buddys iceco before buying mine and I can say that for over another hundred dollars cheaper you should purchase the setpower version of this fridge. It’s just as well built and works very well. It’s identical to this iceco

37 degrees in my $240 Bouge is the same as the 37 degrees in my trail buddy's $1,000 CFX3. and i've had mine longer too.

While ICECO is top of the line and has a premium compressor, I still prefer my cheap Bodega. Why? My Bodega has removable baskets to lighten the load with two or three trips instead of getting a hernia. If you have a flat path you can use the pull-out handle and roll on wheels. The Bodego opens with a single pull handle and when you open the lid LED lights come on. The lid can also be oriented to open on the opposite side. Oh, it also has a built-in pull-out battery pack. Lastly I'm not worried about scuffing up the blue dimpled plastic housing on the Bodega. The shiny smooth aluminum finish on the ICECO would probably show ever little dent and scratch.
  • I just bought a iceco VL45 proS and I’m very impressed with it, I’ve used a cooler since forever but this is game changer. One feature I really like is how I can open the lid from both sides or take it off completely. I was originally going to buy the ARB fridge but it’s like 2k cad. After doing some research I found iceco, couple selling points was the reviews, warranty, compressor, and price compared to the ARB unit. Enjoy your new fridge good sir.

That looks awesome! I had a larger dual zone iceco and it was great. Fit perfectly in a rear section of a 4dr f150. This looks like it would fit in my rear extended cab. 😛 We always used the dual zone to freeze ice packs to keep between drives and other cooler cold.

I bought this fridge a week ago. It's a great fit in my 4Runner. Great look, efficient, and at a fair market price.

I recently bought the iceco j40 for a semi, works great. I love the wireless connectivity.

Thanks for the vid! I ord mine a couple weeks ago and it’s due to ship in July
  • Interesting , Thank You . i hope it works and lasts a long time

nice table top review. but what i want to see is a real world use. take it out on 100 degree day and see if it can keep the drinks/food cold. like the weather is for most of the country right now.

Some of these newer 12v fridges are pretty nice. I may take a closer look if my old ARB 50qt fridge ever failed (knock on wood).

Nice looking fridge, I’ve heard of Iceco but never seen one in person. I’d love to try one out😊
  • @dorknerd
I love the finish of the APL35, but there's no way I'm going to back to a fridge without a battery. It greatly simplified my setup.
  • Freaking amazing how efficient a DC compressor works with a DC power supply. My Costco priced Igloo ICF 80DZ consumes around 700 Wh/Day… that’s 14 days on a 10 kWh battery or forever with 1 hour of EcoFlow alternator charging daily.

If it had wheels I’d buy it immediately. 35 pound empty means 60 loaded. Needs wheels

I always thought a good cooler was great until having a fridge in your rig. Finding a good priced one that works good is a game changer for sure.

I wonder if the latches and hinges can be reversed so that you can control which side the control panel and power ports are on.
