  • It’s more typical to see this in a late August early September timeframe but we’re only in June to July and yet we’re seeing activity on the Atlantic south of the dry air and there’s abundant moisture and high sea surface temperatures that’s prime for development. And we usually don’t see the first hurricane until August major hurricane until late August early September, However, we have very warm sea surface temperatures and they’re still juicy waves coming off the coast of Africa. And if we see supercharged activity, there’s definitely gonna be talks about how climate change is supercharging hurricanes and wire. They coming much more earlier. Because superstorm Sandy, which happened in 2012 the worst disaster to ever strike New Jersey. It’s sort of a wake up call on if lethal storms are becoming more frequent more destructive and even more deadly because we could certainly have another superstorm again. But one thing is for sure 100 years storms are happening more often and sea levels are rising because of melting ice at the poles. And whoever we elect to lead a country will have to make very difficult decisions about the future in relation to climate change, especially because we’re gonna really have to cut our carbon emissions to avoid irreversible damage and more supercharged storms.
