This is quite late, but I'm astonished and disappointed that I didn't discover this sooner (still, better late than never, I guess hahaha). This is so incredibly beautiful and breathtaking, and the picture used is the cherry on top! The joy in this song is contagious and honors the original so well! Thank you so much for sharing your art with us!

This was INCREDIBLE. And all the other songs snuck in, immediately gave me goosebumps while sitting in my driveway working on my car. This is on loop for the day, thank you Robo!

i was expecting this to be the usual orchestral covers you might come across on youtube but this was so much more than that, huge props to you.

the Language part (and other songs) caught me off guard so much! this is amazing. Musician is my favorite Porter Robinson song and i've loved Language for over half of my life. i remember first hearing it in Forza Horizon's title screen on the Xbox 360
  • Jesus christ this is just unbelievable. It's not just an orchestration, you really make it your own. Well done! I need to hear this live

Ive been a huge fan of Porters music for a while. He has helped me get over periods of depression numerous times. This cover brought tears to my eyes. I cannot express in words how good this is. Thank you for doing this song justice.
  • This is the feeling I experience from music. And the fact that the cover is over a song that deals with musical inspiration just makes it infinitely better.
  • Why are you making me sob like this! aaaagghhh the little Unfold in there, it's incredible!
  • Man came looking for some inspiring writing music and I found treasure. Your cover really a work of art. Keep on the good work 🔥🔥🔥

Wow! Absolutely amazing work on this one! :D I have been a fan of all of the things you have created so far, and when I saw this was premiering I was very excited!!! Musician is a Porter song that I hold very close to my heart, and Language is classic and beloved so I'm very happy you combined these two to make such an amazing cover! I'm blown away at the electric guitar line at 4:27, and I'm obsessed with the drop at 2:18 of most instruments to bring in the piano and the synth. The build-up back into full orchestra practically gave me chills! Very well done!! One little nitpick though if I may... (and I've 100% loved everything else you've made including your originals, so it took me by surprise that I disliked this-) Is that the trumpets at 0:52 are super abrupt, staccato, and synthy, and their pitch bends a LOT before it lands on the correct note. It sounds like each note starts on a half-tone lower, then crescendos and bends up to the correct note, then cuts off prematurely and unnaturally as the correct pitch sounds. It sounds surprisingly artificial and a little un-practiced (completely unlike any of the other music you've made, which has all sounded wonderful and very natural). It sounds a bit like the trumpet "players" are not releasing the note and continuing their "breath support" through the phrase, and instead are breathing between every note and/or getting suddenly blipped out of existence after each note they play lol. (Obviously, it IS synths you're using but nothing else I've heard from your music has had this very noticeable effect to it. Interestingly enough I also don't notice it with the low brass section, just the upper brass?) This strange effect also makes it sound a bit to me like the trumpets are half a beat late to each downbeat, which makes that section when the rest of the orchestra comes in at 1:45 feel very rhythmically odd, to say the least... The weird cut-offs to each note are less noticeable with the rest of the orchestra, but I can still definitely hear some of it through the rest of the song. (Perhaps this is because now that I've noticed, I cannot unnotice). I don't know if it was an intentional choice to make the trumpets sound this way but I will admit that it will certainly take some getting used to on what is sure to be repeat listens. Sorry for the entire essay, but I did want to share my thoughts, as that's generally what a comments section is for. Hopefully, I've sounded respectful, as it's definitely the way I intend to come off. Like I mentioned at the beginning, I've loved all your stuff and I'll be waiting with bated breath for everything else you make! I can't wait to hear what you make next! In the meantime, I'll keep listening to all of your songs on repeat :)
