Let’s not forget “Shoiguuuuuuuu” (prigozian voice) had absolutely NO battlefield experience upon him becoming DM either.

Life lesson: do not fly in a heli if you're the president of a middle-eastern country

Mr Shoigu better not travel by plane ever again in his life.
  • Thanks for keeping us updated. Here’s some money towards the writers’ caffeine fund

Nothing live in my head like Prigozhin screaming out in that infamous video, “Shogu!! Gerazimov!!” Lol 😂

Andrei Belousov doesn't have a military background, but does have a deep understanding of defense economics. Sounds like a more cutthroat Russian version of Perun. I wonder if he likes making hour-long PowerPoint videos.

How to properly spell CORRUPTION: Everyone, all at once now: R U S S I A

Shoigu being shifted could very well be a way to shift him out in a way that still takes care of Shoigu. Shoigu may or may not want to be Minister, but he’s never betrayed Putin and we all know Putin takes care of his friend. It’s a cushy retirement. As for Belusov, that makes a lot of sense because the Defence minister’s job right now isn’t to handle the battlefield, it’s to optimise Russia into a war economy. More interesting imo is to see where Patrushev ends up.

That film vignette frame is distracting and not an improvement over the normal talking-head monologue shot.

2020's are not a decade to fly private jets and helicopters.

You guys haven't done an update on Haiti in quite a while, which is a shame because you've probably been the best on that topic

Russia putting an economist in charge actually makes a lot of sense. Last time they got in a big economic war, the USSR didn’t survive. Granted that was with the US, a much bigger economy than Ukraine.
  • In france the GRU tried to hack a dam and ended up jamming a water mill, that was funny

Me: Oh, this looks pertinent. Also me: I'm starting to develop an aversion to the game Simon Says.
  • Coruption was not a reason. Coruption is a base of Russian country.
