As an Aussie that's travelled to China twice it's great that you guys are showing the hospitality and friendlyness of real Chinese people. Oh, and btw the girl at the gas station wasn't kicking you out she was saying you can't use your phone next to the fuel pumps lol

Love how Staffan has 0 social anxiety and can get his way through anything
  • I have been living in China full time since 2018. I've tried making it my goal to show the outside world China is a beautiful country with wonderful people. I've faced a ton of backlash because of it, so to see a huge channel such as you guys share the message I believe in to a larger audience makes me incredibly happy.

You guys have shown why I’ve lived in China for 13 years.
  • The lady wasn't kicking you out of the gas station 😊 She was just telling you that you can't use your phone near the pumps. They have signs telling you you're not allowed to use your phone outside of your car at most gas stations in the UK.

this series changed the way how people think of China as a whole, from its amazing places to its hospitable people.

Through the power of yes, I decided to meet my Chinese neighbours, in the last 3 months they have become like family. Having seen this, I'm even more excited about when I'll finally be able to take them up on their offer and visit the rest of their family in China. Fyi - it was uncle and aunty, but somehow it's become momma and pop 😅 We have dinner regularly and the dad has even helped me paint. Such loving and kind people. 💕

Dazhaxie (hairy crabs)!! Omg you guys are in for a treat ! For those don’t know, Hairy crabs are an autumn delicacy in southern China. If someone invited you to taste crabs together it means they’re really treating you as the most honorable guests (cuz these crabs can be pricy at times) ! Also these crabs do taste brilliant if you enjoy umami . ❤

This series really changed my perspective on this country and it’s people. The media pushes a really unfriendly narrative about China but I think it’s fair to say the opposite was shown through this series

Can I just say I really absolutely LOVEDDD this China series?! I love every single moment of each series! As a Singaporean Chinese who has travelled to China a couple of times, it's so heartwarming to see you guys also getting the same treatment I've received --- being showered with all the love and support from the Chinese people. Ever since then, I've always wanted to travel back to China again... It's never enough, the food, the people and the scenery (it's sooooo breathtaking)... Thank you for showing us the true China!! And to Matt, thank you for everything!! All the best for the next journey!
  • I never thought that China was full of wholesome people and beautiful city landscape.

Good Bye Matt, it was good watching you, I really enjoyed. I hope Thomas and Amar stay back and motivate every human being on this planet.

Great trip, from your first comments about china when you first arrived in your first video to now as hitchhiking explorers . China is so misconceived . Chinese people are very friendly and hospitable and hardworking. I always wanted to work and live in a foreign country away from San Diego, Southern California. I first came to China for two weeks as a consultant and never left. after celebrating my 20th year here, i’m happy i choose an adventure in China. I have always been treated with kindness and i’ve traveled to every corner and each place was unique in local language, customs, history and heritage but kindness remained the thread throughout the culture. Yes Theory team shows that everyone is connected and at the heart ,everyone is kind throughout the world . thank you for taking us on your adventures and showing not to be afraid of other cultures. continued success to all on your team. Next time you are in Shanghai, i’ll buy you a beer. Xie Xie Ni, P. Jacobs

I have really enjoyed this China series! I love seeing how welcoming and friendly the people of China are especially in this video as they have said yes to taking you on a hitchhiking adventure. This has given me an inspiration to visit China someday! I'll look forward to seeing the upcoming adventures in 2024!
