A bit of Bonus information if you are looking to rent in Siem Reap:
Most of these places are fully or partly furnished apartments/condos.
Wifi is included with most.
Water rates depend - some places have a set rate for water, while others are charged per usage.
Electricity in Cambodia is EXPENSIVE!
Lease agreements are negotiable (3 month, 6 month, 12 month etc).
Deposit for rentals in Siem Reap is up to the owner but you're mostly looking at a one or two months deposit... you'll be able to get back at the end of the lease though depending on if you have burnt the house down or not (just kidding but you get the gist).

Wow - very interesting - I love looking at properties ps 20:55 the cupboard you broke - that is my apartment the invoice is in the post!! lol - got to say with the visa situation and the prices Cambodia seems like a great option for nomads - each property got better - the last was amazing but the one with the pool was great and nice price - I love the low-rise element - uninterrupted views - whats the story on foreign land ownership there?

Please give details about the neighborhoods: how many minutes walking from a supermarket? How far from the town center? etc, etc. If they're 10 miles from the center --not so interesting.

Siem Reap is best city to retire. Everything is still cheap compare to most South East Asia countries. Love Siem Reap, never get tired of visiting it.

These are great and lovely places for the price. You pay extra in Thailand for the Sea and infrastructure, which Cambodia is missing. Still love the places with the pools. They are a real bargain and you can still travel over to Thailand on the cheap. Bang up job you 2.

Sarah, wow, you did a great job on this vlog. Also, i have to add Franc as well, or else hell, fall out with me πππ. It shows that with this kind of input, people can get an understanding between Thailand and Cambodia, the pluses, and the minuses. Yes, Cambodia housing is cheap and very nice. I'm not saying that Thailand doesn't have that, but it's up to the individual preferences. I haven't been to Cambodia but will visit in the near future. For me, i fell in love with Bangkok within a week and a half due to the beautiful surrounding tall buildings, transportion, the hustle and bustle, the street food and the list goes on and on. But over all it individuals preference Thanks, guys, for this video.πππππ
