    A very insightful summary, I've begun studying postcolonialism and orientalism, to understand the geopolitical situation of the Middle East and the Muslim World in general, after the fall of the Ottoman Caliphate and Edward Saids' works have proved to be very beneficial.     I have this book and was fortunate to attend one of Dr. Said's lectures in the 90s. I remember the neocons shamefully attacked him as a terror supporter after 911 and tried to have him cancelled.

    AsSalāmu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuhū Amazing Khatirah Shaykh. Just one small thing. The hadith you mention at 14:36, which can be found in Sahih Bukhārī 3062. At the end of the hadith it says fajir, and from the video I heard kafir. وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُؤَيِّدُ هَذَا الدِّينَ بِالرَّجُلِ الْفَاجِرِ. I checked through different Turuq as well, I have not found “kafir” instead of “fajir”, but I could be deficient in my research. Jazākallāhu Khaira, May Allah bless you Shaykh!!
