Is Aziraphale dead? We're not sure and neither is he. But there's always time for a quick drink.

I love that Aziraphale is clearly touched when Crowley said “I lost my best friend” but says “I’m sorry to hear that” in case he was talking about someone else.

"Shut up Anderson, you're lowering the IQ of the entire street"

I would love to go into a pub one day and just see some guy talking to himself about how he didn't want to be a demon
  • @Mewz123
"You're not a demon, you're an angel." Aziraphale be like "eh, same thing."
  • The little crack in his voice when he goes "agNES NUTTER" gets me everytime

"demons can..." and just like that aziraphale finally came to grips with how little the difference between crowley and himself really is

Can you imagine people when Crowley's talking with Aziraphale? They just see a drunk guy shouting to air "AGNES NUTTER!!" while pointing a book to no one
  • His tone when he says Aziraphale … the broken relief in it - absolutely breaks my heart. David you’re incredible
  • @MaylarArt
"...look, wherever you are, I'll come to you." It's small and hidden in the middle of much bigger things being said. But it gets me every time. :)

The way crowley sounds like he's crying is so precious to me. He genuinely is trying to stop crying about how he's seeing his best friend he thought he lost again. And his excitement when he took the specific book he needed!

The way Aziraphale replies to Crowley saying “I lost my best friend” always makes me feel like he doesn’t realise He’s Crowley’s best friend.
  • How Crowley looks and sounds when Aziraphale mentions his bookshop and then Crowley carefully says that his bookshop isn't there anymore and it burned down bcuz he knew how much Aziraphale loved his bookshop and he knew this news would hurt him so he waits for Aziraphale reaction with concern is pure love and also I'm terrible at explanations.

Crowley being sad about his husband breaks my heart

You can hear that roughness in David's voice that comes only from a lot of crying and screaming. Well, and being in a burning building screaming and inhaling smoke.... but you know. I'm entirely convinced that Crowley was doing a lot more screaming and crying then we saw. I need to get a copy of that book...
  • @Digmer
i love how sincere crowley is. he is a mess, heartbroken and wont even try to hide it.
  • @moodyhades
can we just talk about the people behind Crowley watching him yell to air "AGNES NUTTER YES I TOOK IT-"
  • 4:10 "Look, wherever you are I'll come to you." WHY IS NO ONE SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS
  • @Scarshadow666
I once read somewhere (though I can't remember if it's from an interview or speculation) that Crowley's heartbreaking scene in the fire was from Neil Gaiman channeling his grief on Terry Pratchett's death while working on the script for the show. As if this scene didn't have enough feels! 🥺😭
