This is so cool, I wish I could make a multiplayer game just like that. I have some feedback even though this is technically just a prototype. The only thing is the colours, like the audience is the same colour as the players and the island the players fight on blends into the background: - I think the colour of the audience should be random between black, white and grey or at least lower the saturation on them. This means players can focus easily on where other players are. - The island should be darker, and the chunks should become lighter when they are about to fall off or flash red. This makes the island pop against the light background meaning players know where the edges of the island are alot more easily. However the islands that the audience are on can stay light. I think these little changes would add some nice visual clarity, just my opinion and preferences though! Looks so fun and would love to see it get updated.

I think it would be cool if you had some sort of leveling up or power up system using the strength system in the previous devlog. It would make the game more unique and easily picking up and throwing my friends because I'm over leveled sounds really fun! Also a power up that makes you a giant with a lot of strength would be cool.

You should add a gladiator mode where you and your friends fend off against the opposing opponents, maybe even bosses included! (And also an excuse to add weapons and armors)

IT’S NOW MULTIPLAYER?! now it really is gang beasts

Sounds Like a game I would play. Only one thought, maybe you could make the crowd have less visually attracting colours so the attention isn’t being led away from the actual fight. You could maybe like colour them gray or somlething

Subscribed! I love the progress you've made, and look forward to seeing more

Your idea is great but what I find even more exciting is the amount of polish. I did work on my own ragdoll game before your first video and just how much better your ragdolls work is amazing. I would love to see a more detailed video on the legs. The movement looks so good. It's the hardest part to get right from my testing. Your project is amazing keep up the good work.

Another way to incentivize fighting is to give buffs or upgrades to players that knock out and/or eliminate players (strength, speed, recovery, etc.). So that when the person that was hiding the entire game 1v1s the final person, it is in favor of the more active player.

Super cool video! Great to see the progress and you've done a really good job of breaking down each step.

I loved that you made it multiplayer, but in your last video my favorite part was picking up enemies and throwing them! Might add some depth to the game if there are different AI enemies around the map too, you can beat them up and throw them at other players. Also, another solution for the players hiding problem that might be interesting, if you added in the strength mechanic again, so you want to be up others as fast as possible to build up your strength, so when it gets to a 1v1 you'll be stronger then them! This would work well with the AI enemies. Great work! :)
  • Cool. Very cool. I would recommend making the plataform segment color permanently changing after it breaks appart. Making random audience not as one brain, but add a slim random delay between them. I would also make the whole audience being what throws at you that, not a single giant one.

looks cool af man! you could make the more players you throw the bigger and stronger you get, if you die a lot you go back to the original size. you could also make the rock different sizes depending on the size of the players so they can grab it and use it as a weapon by throwing it making it randomly adapt to the size of a player and you could make it different objects like a rocket that flies all over the place, or an ice cube that when you throw it leaves a puddle that players slip on if they step on it or things like that amazing work!

Holly shit man you're awesome! That's a really cool game. The fighting aspect in a physics based game is something I always wanted and now in multiplayer so its perfect.

  • @siraaron4462
Honestly the first version was cooler, a lot more dynamic combat
