Toyota Reveals Special Edition 2025 GR Yaris Vehicles Commemorating WRC Victories!

Two limited versions of the highly regarded GR Yaris hot hatchback, piloted by the legendary Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera, have been released by Toyota as an exciting homage to its World Rally Championship triumphs.

Toyota stole the show at the illustrious Monte Carlo rally championship debut with the introduction of their two special GR Yaris vehicles. Honoring the remarkable feats of eight-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Ogier and Toyota's very own champion Kalle Rovanpera, every model showcases distinct design and performance parameters, capturing the essence of rallying greatness.

A six-speed manual transmission complements the peak performance and handling of the 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which produces 276 horsepower and 390 Newton-meters of torque. But power isn't everything; these limited editions also have handling and dynamics that Toyota has fine-tuned to perfection, doing away with Gravel and Track modes in favor of customizable options for each driver.

However, that's not all the thrilling stuff. The GR Yaris Ogier Edition now has two additional modes—Morizo and Seb—for regulating the four-wheel-drive system. Created with the intention of providing "consistent race times," the Morizo settings guarantee unrivaled performance, drawing inspiration from the tastes of Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda. In contrast, Ogier's mastery of the wheel shapes the Seb mode, which improves responsiveness and handling at faster speeds by transferring more torque to the back axle.

These special edition GR Yaris cars showcase Toyota's commitment to performance and quality, whether you're on the open road or on the heart-pounding rally circuits. Experience the joy of triumph with the GR Yaris Ogier and Rovanpera Editions as we honor the heritage of champions. Can you feel the fire within you that wants to rally? Get on the road and let's write our collective history!
