From what I see in this video Madrid appears very wheelchair friendly. There is an abundance of wide pathways with flat pavement (no cobblestones). As a wheelchair user this makes me happy. I pray I'm lucky enough to visit someday!

Madrid is one of the Great European capitals I have NOT visited, and after watching this video...I need to address that! Wow! - it is Stunningly Beautiful! Elegant, and Imperial!...reminds me of St. Petersburg. Lisbon has been my favorite for a long time, followed by Istanbul, but the architecture here is excellent, refined and solid - and there is Spaciousness!
