Man that was beautiful they both had someone they loved at home waiting for them AWESOME
-
The beast was more human than the man. This was a truly beautifully crafted film. Only a true warrior would understand and appreciate this great work. Thank you.
-
Wow, impressive display of your movie making skills. What many fail to do in a short is tell a story with beginning, middle and most importantly an ending that makes sense and connects emotionally with the audience. Loved the ending and it broke my expectation where I thought someone would die. Beautiful ending that is both emotional and true. Keep going Gearmark.

EXCELLENT JOB Gearmark crew!! Congrats on getting this out there and for all the hard work you put into this. Here's to many more in the future, keep going strong!

OH SNAP

"The Mercy of my enemy"makes me often question war, question why they sent us here, and what it is we're fighting for Over me the constant sky, over him the constant stars we share an insignificance, beneath the bloodshot eyes of Mars Perhaps we'll make it back to home, silent `neath the coffin flag and of our great heroic deeds the glib elite will boast and brag As he makes a slow retreat the bitter thought won't leave my head If leaders were to have their way, we would both be honored dead Flying Paladin 13 Jan 18

This was better than some high-budget Hollywood movies
-
This was awesome! I've got a soft spot for stories that depict stereotypically "evil" creatures as having a humanity of their own.
-
eh. the giant weapons kind of ruined it for me. the whole concept of it was really well done though.
-
WoW type weapons I'm not too fond of but all in all, damn good story, and visuals.
-
That "monster" had more humanity than most humans.
-
A better Warcraft movie than the Warcraft movie (and that's coming from someone who quite enjoyed the Warcraft movie). That sword though...
-
Astounding how similar each are, yet they know it not. Why have to go to such extremes to see this? Who was the real beast in all of this?....beautifully done.
-
Buff dudes sent me... Very good short
-
EPIC!!! Top notch high fantasy! Orc VFX was perfect
-
Which showed the light saber capability of the furious blue color, talked about earlier lmao. Other then the small problems with the sword. The acting, graphics, other props, warm colors with his wife and the cold colors during the fight, all very well done!!

Amzing Video guys.. Am Glad Buff Dudes sent me your way.. have subbed an now going through all your vids in a big binge.. keep up good work!!

So much work into this, and it looks like something out of the 80s that you rewatch to see how far we've come. that is the bad part.. the amazing part? The part that I whole heatedly encourage? The is an example of potential. You guys are putting good use to skills that will only get better, and if it has an ounce of story this vid had it will all be amazing if for the hard critique I've offered.
-
Wonderful work. You all did amazing! And you worked so hard.

Just stumbled onto this vid the other day, and for a 9-10 minute film, I found this very endearing. To have someone in a situation as intense as a battlefield and coming to the realization that your enemies are just as human as you are is tricky to pull off without being too in your face about it, and I think you guys did a good job at it. (at least in my smol opinion anyway) The only thing that made me cringe was the weapons, especially the sword. The way that it was textured made it look like it was carved out of stone rather than steel. Plus the size made it look very clunky and maybe somewhat hard to maneuver in a fight. (but maybe that's just my own bias, I just like practical weapons) Either way, I enjoyed myself with this lil gem, keep up the good work!
