[SOUND DESIGN]: Hazbin Hotel (Pilot): "A Prank Too Far" Comic Dub

At last, it's here! I cannot thank you enough for asking me if you could dub this and bringing the comic to life. It's been a long four months but the wait was well worth it. Even while watching the video editing myself I was so excited! The voice acting in this is just beyond mind-blowing, everyone did a stellar job. Even though I've heard it before the video came out, it still gives me the same feelings as when I first heard it. HUGE thank you to Carlos for the visual effects, they really add to the voices; and thank you to Disney for her help with some of the art and being an awesome friend. I know the process to complete this has been a long and challenging one, but it was WORTH it. I can't sing my praises enough about you guys. I hope everyone else enjoys it too! Brilliant job, guys! And thank you again!

I don't think Alastor was scared Angel could actually hurt him, he was in utter shock at his reaction.

What makes this really scary is that I completely believe Alastor would do this.

The most innocent prank alastor could ever come up with:

That scream Angel did... I know it's fan made but dude... You have some PIPES on you. That scream is utter agony from the deepest depths of one's soul. Something no one should ever have to endure. Not even once. "Seeing Red" doesn't come even remotely close to the level of utter agony that scream has behind it. Alastor put Angel in his place, but he came closer than ever in his AFTERLIFE to crossing the line. I had a HUGE hunch he was toying with Angel to teach him a lesson as only a complete sadist can, but he forgot one thing: You take something away from someone that they hold dear? They will NOT hesitate to kill you. It's a primal thing. We may have progressed as a species, but that primal stuff will always be inside us. Don't give it an excuse to be set loose. Otherwise you'll wake up covered in blood.

The fact that alastor snapped completely out of his demonic form when angel started talking shows how pissed off angel was to the point alastor was shocked

Its interesting the fact that Alastor looked so surprised when he saw Angel crying so hard for a pig and I actually felt really bad for Angel.

These are definitely canonical reactions. The voice acting is perfect, phenomenal, and emotive. It's so raw, and the characters are captured perfectly. Bravo! 👏

I love how a demon just loves his pig more than anyone

The fact that he’s a flirty person but he still cares abt his ppl like Charlie and fat nuggets, but to be honest alastor could’ve actually gotten hurt by Angel dust, It’s heartwarming how he doesn’t show he cares but he actually does, this almost made me cry tho. And the way that he was running looking for him says “nuggs?!” Plus when he fought with alastor it shows that he would fight anyone just for fat nuggets. And the way he screamt was heartwarming

The original comic is brilliantly in-character; it feels like reading something that could be canon. The video and audio work are top notch, too. I absolutely loved it.

Imagine if Alastor went even further and somehow got Angel to eat the pork without knowing it's nuggs, and is then told by Alastor who he just ate.

I could definitely see alastor doing something like this is the actual show, the voice acting is amazing as well as the comic

Angel dust is adorable looking in this comic + his voice makes him more adorable, you did a great job.

Hit all the emotional marks. This kind of passion and work is why this show needs these kinds of projects between the seasons... they feel as much a part of the canon universe as anything. I'm constantly surprised by the work, talent and passion that HH seems to bring out of terrific artists such as yourself and the team behind this project. Hell, even I started a novel thanks to HH being one hell of a muse. Thanks again!

I don't think that Al is actually scared or nervous when Angel attacks him. I just think he's more shocked or taken aback by Angel's reaction, and also cause he realises in the end when Angel grabs his neck and tells him off, that he has in fact gone a bit too far. Canonically I could easily see Al having a reaction like this in the show at some point. Vivienne has also stated in one of her streams that at some point, all the characters will get some form of 'wake-up call' of themselves, down the road.

POV: You didn't know Alastor was joking and almost started crying over a literal comic
