I don't think you can test the buoyancy that way. The water is pushing up on the objective while the object is pushing down on the water. The net weight would be the same. You should test the weight from above without the weight touching the bottom. That will give you the difference between the actual weight and the weight loss due to buoyancy. Love your channel. Thanks for all the great info.

Whoever invented that paddle needs the noble prize. (That's a grade above the nobel prize.) 😂 I have an old craftsman riding mower that i de-saftied and quit buying a battery for it. I just use one of those jump starters to start it, since it will continue mowing if you dismount it, so you only have to start it one time. Everybody is still alive with all their fingers and toes. 😂
  • Love that paddle!! Thanks for all you do for the fishing crowd!!😊

11.43pm in Ireland and a new video notification has made my day! 😅
  • Awww heck. I just made dragging weights at home tonight. Never checked the floating weight. Especially once u add the peg float near the hook. Luv the updates, Keith. Thanks man
  • When i see a new video on your channel, it's like a holiday for the ol eyes and ears, keep up 😂

I like that paddle pump. That thing is cool. The jump box for a boat I've been looking at for a few months now.

You inspire me to make anything fishing related. After a long day, your videos are always entertaining to watch
  • On the pump, that’s a check valve it’s used to keep the water from backing into your pump. It’s big for aquarium owners who have the air pump lower than the tank. I always use them for my bubble boxes as insurance. They do come in handy
  • Rechargeable Bubble Boxes are the way to go. Been using mine for 2 years, awesomeness. You save money on batteries (priced D cell batteries lately?) and no corrosion over the winter. And, if you got a usb socket on your boat, you always got a working bubble box. Just MAKE SURE you pull your bubble box out of your bucket before handing your bucket to the "minnow lady", cause she left my bubble box in the bucket, filled it with minnows AND water, and it has not worked right since (on/off button works intermittent now). My bad I guess but dang!

I built a very similar style baitfish trap about 10yrs ago. It wasn't quite as big as yours as I like bait on the smaller side. Great minds think alike. Tight lines from Alabama.
  • @MavrikUSMC
I would PAY to see someone on the water trying to pump and paddle a boat to shore at the same time. I'd help after I recovered from the laughter 😂😂😂
  • @NebraskaPharmer
This is a hard one to explain but you can't measure the buoyancy in that way. It will always be the same. If you add to Ping pong balls that weight 1 ounce they will add one ounce of weight to the water. You have to measure the downward pulling force of the weight once submerged in the water. Out of the water the total force is pulling down. In the water the water will exert a small force upward for lack of a better term.

This has to be the best/funniest fishing channel ive seen. Reminds me of bill dance alittle 😂 keep it up man
  • @chrissewell1608
That Paddle Pump is a double duty life saver! Unless you gotta bildge the boat out, while having to paddle? But still, a great idea! And trust me, you always need a paddle! Really two, because you typically fish with a buddy!
  • @Saltloony
Nice, you can also convert your existing Aerator from a standard battery to a lithium battery for under 5 dollars. just need an 18650 battery holder, an 18650 battery, and an optional tp4056 charging module.
