We brought in a bunch of kids, paired them with a bunch of our contributors and then got our Facts. crew to ask them for advice on trying to find someone to go out with. The responses we got from the kids were adorable.

Words from someone who has never been in a relationship: 1. Falling in love was named for a reason. You don't try to make it happen, it just does. You can't make yourself fall; you can only jump. And jumping into love is never a good thing to do. 2. Contrary to what the girl said, on a first date, go easy, especially if you don't really know each other. Don't go to a five star restaurant, which you can save for other dates (if all goes well.) Go to a park, or out for ice cream, or something outgoing and fun where you can talk, but at the same time, be able to excuse yourself nicely if things ever get too tense. And do /not/ go to a movie. You won't talk at all, and by the end, you'll know next to nothing more than you knew before. 3. Every relationship should feel to you like you're putting in 60% and them 40%, while at the same time they feel the same way. And you should be okay with that. Make time for them, but never compromise yourself for the relationship. 4. You'll be okay. :)
