Introducing "Things I Love," a brief, unscripted video series where I delve into my passions. One such passion that has resonated with me since my youth is Nier Replicant or Gestalt.

Being a devoted fan of Nier from its inception, I vividly remember playing through Gestalt as a child upon its release. The desire to share my thoughts about this game has always lingered, and though I have plans for a more elaborate, properly scripted video, my busy life prompted me to create this shorter, more spontaneous piece to convey my feelings.

Recently immersing myself in Nier Replicant reignited my love for the series, compelling me to create a video discussing this masterpiece.

This video is not a traditional review; instead, it's a heartfelt ramble about something I hold dear. I acknowledge that it might come across as somewhat incoherent, and I promise to strive for clarity in future videos. If you enjoyed this spontaneous dive into my passion, your support means a lot – thank you!

It's a really weird thing to think about that had one of my friends not posted a link to Temple of Drifting Sands on Facebook years ago and me not having seen it and been curious about the cover art, I may have never heard about the original game and thus never played it or Automata either. But man... Am I glad that I happened to see my friend posting that link. Having listemed to it, I went from "What even is this song?" to listen more of the soundtrack which led to "WHAT EVEN IS THIS GAME? WHY IS THE MUSIC SO GOOD?". I didn't even notice that I fell into the rabbit hole until I had found and fimished watching a playthrough of the game (my dad did have a PS3, but I couldn't find a copy of the game anywhere in my country back then anymore) and found a fan-translated online version of the Grimoire Nier. It was too late. The fall happened a long time ago, my brain just didn't catch up to it immediately. Best. Fall. Ever.
