This was a fun time that I took WAY too long to record. I'm glad I could get this out there. But I must say, I'm SO SORRY to Slimecicle for just calling him DM the whole time. Please forget me.

Slimecicle (the dm) posted his reaction to Jaidens video on his vod channel where he goes more in depth about his thought process and how he built certain encounters. It’s a great watch for anyone who wants to learn more about the behind the scenes of the game

For the clay improv I watched slimes video on it and he said it was improv. You're correct. (His video was so funny cause he said they went on for nearly an hour of clay and gravel eating)

Honestly, I feel Jaiden could end up being the BBEG eventually, I mean, we're talking about a character that can LITERALLY GIVE PEOPLE DEPRESSION WITH A COMMAND! How scary is that? Imagine the kinds of emotional manipulation that it would be possible with such powers.

Fun fact: the DM (Slimesicle) made a reaction video to Jaiden's animation on his VODs channel and he goes over a lot of his thoughts as a DM in that video. I really recommend giving it a watch, because it's both insightful into the DM's thought process and it's funny!

NICE there's something thrilling about getting an expert's opinion on something you enjoy. Jaiden viewers know she's clever and witty and sometimes uses those skills for mischief, and we LOVE IT! I'm excited that her skill is being showcased and complimented (as well as Slimecicle's DM abilities), and recognised for the talent she has!

I DM'd my first game last Saturday with four friends and it was so much fun! I've listened to hundreds of your Horror Stories and the advice given between them and tried to take it to heart. I ran a free module I found online involving a minor investigation and a few level 1 encounters. I didn't expect them to try to tame the Sewer Drake at the end but I was a little disappointed they only rolled 19s to tame it. I was so close to giving them the pet

I'm not gonna lie I LOVE Charlie's dm and game style. His ones shots are all hilarious and memorable when I've gotten a achance to know about them. He's definitely an inspiration for me

7:06 I saw the stream, it was a mixture of the DM improving and getting disturbed over their "Eat the clay/Gravel" fixation, to the point that the Door, who had left earlier saying he wouldn't help them after Zoot lobbed a dagger at him, came back and yelled "Make something, for the love of God you idiots!"

For adventure hooks, I tend to either find something convenient in game, or I just go "Player (number) has entered the game" and describe them loading in matrix style. I don't go out of my way because I follow the concept of "buying in." It is up to the players, not me, to find a reason for their character to be on the adventure, and I will tell them that if they say they were waiting for a reason to game.
