Description
The Boom Beach June update, "Summer Skies," brings a host of UI fixes and improvements to make your gameplay smoother and more enjoyable. Boom Beach players will now experience increased vertical camera movement in player bases and corrected Warships UI displays. No more erroneous VP loss messages when a resource base is captured โ€“ Boom Beach ensures accuracy in every detail. Weโ€™ve also tuned the landing craft unit positioning to prevent units from falling overboard and fixed the sculptor, prototype factory, and daily chest rewards to keep their parent windows open for seamless interaction.

The Bunker and Garrison systems in Boom Beach are getting significant updates. The Bunker tutorial will no longer trigger in enemy bases under certain conditions, and shield generator cables are now properly aligned. Units will be ejected from Bunkers if hacked, and they will not be resurrected by attackers. The Garrison UI has been refined for clarity, with a new icon for upkeep and automatic application of changes after closing the popup. Resource production logic has been adjusted, and gold collection is no longer automatic when changing garrisoned units.

Other improvements in this Boom Beach June update include better shooting positions for Gunboats, fixes for units targeting hidden defenses, and adjustments to unit vs. unit retargeting logic. Boom Beach players will also receive warnings if leaving a Task Force would cause intel loss. VP earned will now apply to the next VP chest if the current one is full, and the Seasonal Campaign reward track has a more intuitive Buy Pass Point button placement. The Boom Pass now reduces the cost of switching nodes in Warships, making it easier and more affordable for players to adapt their strategies.

The new Mystical Monument Leaderboard and Path of Glory features are designed to enhance the competitive and progression aspects of Boom Beach. The leaderboard tracks active players and resolves ties based on achievement timing. Path of Glory provides an informative roadmap of unlockable features and buildings, helping Boom Beach players understand their progression better. Additionally, the invasion logic on the Archipelago Map has been overhauled. Blackguard and mercenary invasions now follow separate, non-random timers visible in the Radar info screen. The base time for invasions adjusts based on player level and the number of liberated islands, with timers pausing after 14 hours of inactivity.

However, these changes to the invasion logic could potentially infuriate leaderboard players. The new timers, while more predictable, might lead to an overall drop in victory points as players adjust to the new system. The separate timers for Blackguard and mercenary invasions mean that strategic planning will be more critical than ever in maintaining leaderboard positions. Be prepared for a period of adjustment as the Boom Beach community adapts to these significant changes.

    Ok the path is a good idea, but the rest just sounds like minor fixes and some changes. The monument is going to be interesting because not many are upgraded that fast

    Hey zmot, I'm still watching your vids despite still not having played the game for 50 odd weeks.. Always hoping that Supercell will come up with a way to make Warships playable without requiring IT. Warships made the game interesting again and was the only reason I came back to the game the last time I quit and I've no problem with spending from time to time, I always have on most games I play but when not spending means not being able to play the only interesting part of the game then I won't be coming back because the waiting time for troops to retrain on Boom Beach is just ridiculous, especially when I'm working and only have an hour or so a day in which to try to push forward. In fact, during covid I was paying for IT on 2 separate accounts until work dried up and money became tighter. I just feel robbed considering the hundreds of pounds I've spent in the past, supporting Supercell, don't count for anything as soon as I can no longer spend for whatever reason. As I said before, I still enjoy watching your vids as they're entertaining and I hope that one day there'll be an update that's enticing enough to get me booming those beaches again! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ˜ŽโœŒ

    Have they fixed the gold cost for the bunker troops? When I have troops loaded up in them, I never have gold to collect from the residences, and always seem to be low on gold. Seems like they consume far more gold than they should be.

    Hi, can you tell on how you calculated the number of invasions? 12 for PVP, altogether?

    Definitely going to have to tweak the radar times above 1000vp. I get raided 16-20 times a day. Should be an hour. Did the dev team give you any information on why they changed how the radar works, and why now?
