I am Unicron. I am the darkest corner of your mind. I am the cruelty hidden in your heart. I am savagery. I am rage. I am hate. Every murder you imagine, every bleeding fantasy, every vengeance. Every repressed urge, every unrealized perversion. I am all of these.

I love how it went from questioning the nature of evil with Galactus to 'yeah this guy is Robot-Satan'.
  • So the main difference seems to be that Galactus is usually portrayed as unfeeling when he consumes worlds. It's a mundane process to him, but he can feel a slight hint of remorse for his actions and can be reasoned with. Ironically, more machine-like. Unicron is absolute evil, and enjoys his role as the destroyer of worlds. He doesn't care who gets in his way or how long it takes, and can't be reasoned with.

If you think Unicron is Satan, wait until Shockwave comes on Edit:Was not expecting this to get this much attention
  • @hound89
"You can't reason with a hurricane that hates you!" All time great line.
  • @WickedFireBird69
This is actually a very good match up. I kind of hope Silver Surfer and Galvatron show up to cameo!

The question isn’t “who will win” the real question is “how do we survive?”
  • @ArkhamMaster.
Imagine if this takes place right after megatron vs freeza

Fun fact: In his very first introductory appearance, Unicron was voiced by legendary actor Orson Wells, IE the War of the Worlds radio play Orson Wells, it was his very last performance before dying in fact, and Gods save me he gave such an incredible performance despite not being able to give any less of a Sh@t about the role. Literally, he cared so little about it, he didn't even know the name of the character he was playing and described his role as "I play a big toy that attacks other toys." Bizarrely, that complete lack of giving a sh@t was perfect, because he voices Unicron with this perfect sense of pomposity and arrogance, like everything is so far beneath him, why would give even the slightest sliver of his attention to the tiny, scurrying things, desperate trying to hold him off?
  • It has nothing to do with the outcome, but I love the Idw version of unicron. For 13 years we were teased with the possibility that the next mysterious threat was actually unicron’s machinations before being revealed to be something else. When he finally showed up at the end of the series, he wasn’t some eldritch horror from outside of time, he was worse: Unicron was just a legend, but the countless civilizations destroyed in the crossfire of the cybertronian 4 million year war pooled their resources to get revenge by building a perfect replica of the cybertronian devil Cybertronions messed up so badly, as a species, that they manifested their apocalypse as guy.

Okay, so Unicron is a lot more powerful than I thought. This will be an interesting battle.

Headmasters Galvatron: “This is Unicorn! The Earth will soon be a part of me!”
  • @geardog24
“Almost every Unicron you’ve seen are the same Unicron.” So he’s similar to Darkseid? Now I’m a bit worried for Galactus…
  • If I remember correctly, Unicron had made the dark spark. His version of the Matrix of leadership. It allows you to bend the wills of the inhabitants of the universe to Basically dominating zombies and people to do your bidding. That's just a fraction of his near infinite power
  • @jlr1357
Unicrion is basically Galactus, Satan and the Death Star mixed on a blender. And that's why he's so cool
  • @DapperBrick
I was worried they were going to low-ball Unicron's power by overlooking something in the canon but the fact they decided to go with the multiversal singularity version of him gives me hope.
  • @willlawson6126
Both in this battle are literally a force of the universe with a type of "corporeal form" Whether we are talking a mechanical body or a body manifested from the power cosmic...... This is going to be extremely interesting
  • I like the Transformers Prime backstory where instead of becoming Cybertron's moon, Unicron basically became Planet Earth, explaining Mankind's inherit EVIL!
  • I think the reason people lose their minds in the mere presence of these gigantic, enormous combatants is because the writers took a page from "The Call of Cthulhu" which is a concept of the human's fragile mind when introduced to infinity. Maybe I'm just overthinking
