It really is sad when you think about it. In the first episode Einar saw his family killed right in front of him and even though he wanted revenge, he had to hold onto his anger and live with that burden. It’s the exact same situation here and I can imagine that experience flashed in his head again. Thorfinn helped snapped him out of it but man does it take real strength to hold himself back like that. This dude has gone through so much

Both Thornfinn and Canute's character development and progression has been nothing short of outstanding. Both are two completely different people from when they last saw each other. Yet there still kind of the same in ways. When ever they do interact, it's going to be glorious.

Thorfinn literally said to Leif Canute ONLY BROUGHT A HUNDRED MAN SO EVEN IF THE WORST CASE SCENARIO HAPPENS, he will still return in one piece. I know he swore off to violence but damn that line is so cold.

So, I started this series last week, and I found your React Pack channel, when you all started watching this anime during your 2019 uploads. Every episode I pause and have been watching your reactions during emotional and pivotal plot turns. I know I'm a stranger like almost all of your viewers. You're glad to have each other. I really wanted Arnheid to live as well. I wanted her to go with Thornfinn and Einar to Vinland. But I understand her wanting to let go and find peace with her love ones in the afterlife. Arnheid is such a tragic character who didn’t deserves the cruelty she suffered. I hope she finds peace.

I think that what Thorfinn is seeking is closure when he goes to see Canute. Hes truly grown to be a man his father would be proud of

There's enough story for about 2 seasons. The manga is in its final arcs now. Could end within this or the next year. Since it's a monthly manga, i would say about 20 or so chapters left. That would mean about 120 chapters would still remain unadapted at the end of this season.

I dont know how mappa will potray the meeting between thorfin and canute but In my opinion the conversation between them is one of the most beautiful and meaningful in anime
