Undertale - Sans's Death Counter

I think the interesting part is how at first player character wants to fight, provoking Sans by stepping closer, but every fight after that Sans is the one initiating combat.

"Hmm... wait. Something's not right. You don't have any friends."

I loved the quote sans makes when you spare him and get back to the middle of the fight "You look REALLY pissed about something." "Did I get ya?"

Sans’ roasts get progressively more devastating, and are designed to break the player’s will to play the game.

When he said "we'll start from 12" that genuinely sent shivers down my spine the first time I saw it

Sans is such a cocky bastard I love him! seems likes he's again speaking more to the player to make you feel bad about being a horrible person and going through with this

At this point in the game he’s like “alright, fuck it. If I cant get rid of them, might as well piss them off with the limited amount of time I have.”

I like how Sans is fully aware that you're messing with timelines, and even though you can erase him from existence in a few seconds he still goes out of his way to insult you. Incredible writing.
