What a fun thing for the two of you to do together!! It was good that you didn’t worry about it being perfect, but rather letting him create and have fun with it because the next time he’ll be more interested in being more detailed. I ended up raising two of my grandsons whose mother abandoned them as babies And we were always in the kitchen together and it didn’t matter whether we were cooking or baking. I know that I gave them a wonderful foundation for life and so much more before I got cancer… They were about eight years and 10 years of age into this day now that they are 19 and 22, when they can spare time for Grandma, we are still making meals together and desserts together!!
