Please DO NOT RUN when you see a tornado. Either get into a car and drive away if you are at a good distance or if it is within a few kilometers/miles get down on the ground/ditch/inside a closed of room with no windows. Running will lead to death.

That's known in Native folklore as a Dead Man Walking tornado. The legend states that if you see him in a tornado, you are about to die. Makes sense, as these kinds of tornadoes are so viciously powerful.
