7:15 wow a keyboard enthusiast finally acknowledges that the average person buying a keyboard doesn't have a soldering iron.
  • @rvas324
13:54 I guess when they say “hot-swap” they mean “use hot to swap”
  • I am an accountant have been using a Keychron C3 Pro at work with a separate numpad. Isn't hotswappable but it is gasket mount and QMK/VIA support that I use daily. For $30 when on sale it is cheap enough that I leave it there and don't worry about it walking off.

“Does this keyboard good for gaming?” Making me laugh
  • @Conor.Mcnuggets
bro said cheap chinese keyboard, literally everything he buy is made in china

With the risophy keyboard, I just put wuque studio switches and a tape mod and it turned out to be great. It's now my daily driver.

Still, nothing could beat epomaker x aula f75 in budget category. I got this keyboard for just $40 but the performance feels $100
  • I love how the budget end of things, hell, the ultra budget end of things, has gotten so much better in the last year or so. I fully agree with you that the first and last are the two best in this lineup. They have decent starting points, and since they are hot swap and you can mod them, it means you can get into the hobby for what would have been impossibly low prices not that long ago. Hell, I'm tempted to buy that first one just for the keycaps lol.

because of your channel I jsut bought and received my first custom keyboard (always had high end gaming keyboards for competition purposes but your videos made me want a cool sounding keyboard, and also mess arround with the looks of it), I bought the Epomaker Galaxy 80 and WOW, I can t than you enough ! also ordered some more parts, I can t wait to mod it, it s gonna be so fun, thanks for your passion and tips, you made one more adept

I loved the overdubbed part. It was like a foreign film! Or an episode of Hipyo Anime I guess
  • This video makes me glad that I´m past the ¨plastic beginner¨ keyboard stage. But they are good to learn on and even get your keyboard collection started.

the redragon k552 deserves a spot in this video imo its a tkl with hot swappable switches, full rgb, and it have alot of potential for modding with alot of tutorials on youtube for it. the software for it looks alot like the t dagger keyboard in this video and one of its down sides is the cable is fixed and not swappable but can be modded
  • @Mia-Ja
    will hipyo review the lucky65
  • @ReikaTAKANO
I got my Aula F87 for under $40 after conversion. It is hotswappable and comes with Leoborg Greywood V3, tri-mode, has full RGB on keys, RGB battery indicator, RGB side panel, and my variant came with matcha/white MDA profile keycaps

Need a budget full size keyboard roundup, can't go without my numpad
  • @w_ble
It would be cool to see you review the Xinmeng M87

Hey there Hipyo!👋 I have a little tip for your stabilizers to rattle less. First, take them out of the keyboard, and seperate the little metal bar from the stabilizers. Then on the 2 ends, put 1 layer of tape around the tiny metal bar. The best tape to use for this is a type of tape with a paper texture, but just plastic tape also works. It works for me, and my stablizers don't rattle anymore. I didn't even have to lube them, I just used tape. ⌨❤

I'm so excited for my Wooting. I've only heard bad things about the feel, but the performance 😎
