Joaquin Phoenix is a phenomenal actor. An absolutely brilliant performance in portraying Joker!

I love how he makes the little boy that is staring at him laugh. That makes him happy. And then the mother scowls at him... And he seems to laugh and cry at the same time... I don't think this guy is actually a bad guy. I think he might be really good and the world just wouldn't accept him.

I love this movie. It is SO special. No one has focused on metal illness in this way. Wow! It truly moved me.

This movie and portrayal of the Joker is by far the epitome of what that character is supposed be . This Joker and Joaquin's acting will always fully represent the JOKER!

After having/still suffering with depression it was frightening how much i could relate to that character on the screen, absolutely brilliant acting.

Fuera de serie la interpretación de Joaquín Phoenix, simplemente Magistral. Encarna a la perfección ese personaje triste y lunático, con una vida difícil, rodeado de un entorno gris y sus problemas mentales, es una gran película. Excelente canción, con un guión brillante, diálogos bastante crudos y realistas, al igual que la escenografía, muestra el descenso de su poca cordura, el nacimiento del Joker en una sociedad, violenta desigual, colapsada y convulsionada, de todo este caos surge este brillante y desquiciado villano.

Joaquin's performance beautifully demonstrated how blurred the lines of insanity vs. reality can be for so many people. Masterful acting.

He ran like a comedian and walked like a badass.

It was the stairs scene that hooked me. Symbolism abounds, it was his descent into madness and i was at the bottom of the stairs waiting in amazement

I mean damn, the performance was unreal. Taking sanity to insanity on every level was impressive on every single level. I mean Heath Ledger took it to a new level and then Jouquin took it to a level that is brilliant. I can't wait for the new one to come out.
