its gonna be one hell of a journey listening to this man grow old as a tree

He's got a great fucking voice but good lord, the song! The song is incredible. The references to Arlo Guthrie, Thunderbird wine, he's real as it gets, folks.

To be Colter's age and to have the songwriting ability that he has is incredible. Not only is his voice real, he's clearly learned from the best, and clearly put some work in learning the trade. I cannot wait to hear more from this songwriter.

The struggle with existing just bleeds from this song. I can't get this song out of my mind.

Its my favourite song from Colter, his voice is golden, it feels like home & freedom all at once.. with a mild hint of sensuality.. which has a way of balances the masculinity in him.

Had this stuck in my head every since been hearing this on wwe2k24 I used this for my created wrestler’s music in wwwe2k24
  • If you listen to this compared to the album version, this is noticeably slower.... and I like it alot more this way

These early songs are definitely his best . . . a music love at 70, this is one of the best raw poems I've ever heard . . .

I am so glad I discovered him a couple months ago, he's phenomenal!!
  • In my opinions some of the greatest songs composed by the greatest musicians are those in their latter years in their latter albums. Most of the time these albums do not blow up as much as the albums of the newer stars but they are a lot of times as good or even better. Some examples of this are When the Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash or the album Reflections by Don Williams or Down The Road Wherever by Mark Knopfler. Just can’t wait to see where CW’s career takes him and how he progresses as a musician. A lot of great albums to come
