I like how each roguelike thumbnail references The Binding of Isaac, yet Alpharad has yet to make any form of content about that game

I love how Ivy goes from "gee whiz friend, let's have a fun battle." To "You need to be stopped!"

I like how your rival gets more mentally depressed the further you go through the game

"Im your friend alpha!" to "i found my life's purpose and its to destroy you" type of shit from ivy

As goofy as the DNA Splicers are, they do let you make some absolute monstrosities. I was able to combine a Togekiss with a Heatran to create a Steel/Fairy type with Flash Fire. I made Eternatus struggle to death.

I love how fangames have advanced to the point where we can have a whole game without an OVERWORLD, and it's still awesome!

Evolving mid battle is really cool. Kindof like those hype moments in the anime

Alpharad and roguelikes are a match made in heaven. His incredible luck and the bullshit that can happen in roguelikes is perfect.

Unfortunate issue. Alpharad killed the server by redirecting too much traffic. I wanted to play too ;-;

The B plot of the Weezing that just wanted to die was the best part. It’s a shame nicknames aren’t a thing, otherwise that’d be an easy Wheez-yore.

Something really fun about this game is that literally any Pokémon is viable in it to a certain degree- you can obtain some wildly powerful moves from the egg gatchas and shiny Pokémon are both decently easy to obtain and have as much of a gameplay benefit as having powerful Pokémon bc they give you chances to get powerful items much more commonly and those can carry you hard. Makes this game a delight to watch and I love how everyone runs through in a different way due to how absurdly customisable the experience is. Cool to see one of my favourite YouTubers play :D

Alpha accidentally using the most efficient strategy possible on the final boss is hilarious

Fun fact this game came out a MONTH ago It’s still super early access and already this well polished and appreciated

I think this is one of the luckiest first runs I’ve ever seen in my life bro, legendary, band and dna splicer in the first 100 wave is crazy
