I just canāt wrap my head around how a Blade film is having the most trouble sticking to a script. Itās so frustrating
-
It's because, the standard set by Wesley Snipes' Blade is at the top of Mount Everest. Simple. Bless Wesley Snipes
-
Kat Williams as Blade is diabolical casting lmao
-
Blade deserves better, hopefully we will get a cohesive and amazing film sooner rather than later.
-
Itās so weird that Ali is older than Snipes was when he concluded his run of Blade lol
-
I wouldnāt even be mad if Mahersha Ali decided to leave the project at this point.
-
Blade is becoming Marvel's Gambit
-
I actually am happy that theyāre seemingly trying to do the best version of Blade. Iād rather wait for a great movie than get a fast track movie with script problems
-
It's insane that Blade and Loki were announced at the same time, and Loki has already aired 2 seasons of a total of 12 episodes, and they are still re-writing Blade.
-
It's clearly the studio. And Ali apparently sticking up for the character and saying no a bunch (which is great, I want more actors and directors putting their foot down)
-
Delroy Lindo as āWhistlerā would be perfect
-
You cannot call yourself a critic if you never criticise anything.

19:33 Jessica is SPOT on. Scheduling does not stop a star being in a movie. MILLIONS of dollars were spent on Henry Cavill's LIP so he could film two movies. If Ali leaves due to "scheduling difficulties," Marvel is lying or Ali is being kind.

The model photo on the right is Trevante Rhodes ššš 3:57

Just like when Channing Tatum was announced as gambit at comic con and the movie never came out

Blade (90's) was what got people excited to see a Marvel movie growing up. That trilogy of films was the baseline of the Marvel Movies we got in the late 2000's and to endgame. I think Ali wants a story that builds a story line that connects into Midnight Sun's and pays homage to 90's Blade while setting it up as his movie and not a Wesley Snipes rip-off. I understand why its taking so long to make and why they constantly re-write the story. You cant take a character that was the first stone placed in a 26 year legacy.

Ali is the perfect Blade reboot! They gotta get it done
-
17:00 I didn't realize John Boyega had been mistreated by Disney. Thank you for clarifying how Disney mowed down characters.
-
Better off considering blade1 canon to mcu at this point lol
-
If I'm remembering correctly, did feige say ali called him and said he wanted to be blade? That if ali calls you and wants a role, you just give it to them because he won those oscars?
