Over the last five months, we've seen an unprecedented escalation in violence in Gaza. Most people I know feel like they're going crazy. We're all seeing the same footage, but no matter how angry we all get and how much we try to change public opinion, nothing seems to come of it. So...what can we do? Has evil won?

The biggest difference is that those people that are about to pretend they were on the right side of things all along will be archived forever on the internet. May we never forget those who enabled and supported atrocity.

The French called Haitian freedom fighters monsters and animals but now people realize they had a legitimate right to fight off occupation.

My Jewish friends visited Israel about 20 years ago as part of their "Birthright" trip to try to convince them to become Israeli Jews. They were so appalled by the anti-Arab racism that they wanted nothing to do with it, ever.

I just saw the news about a US airman who set himself on fire to protest Israel's war in Gaza... I'm just speechless...

As an archivist, I cannot recommend more strongly that people begin to write down details about what is happening in Gaza. The evidence will change someday and we need record of the truth

"Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than 'politics'. They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbours were dragged away. You know who weren't nice people? Resistors." Naomi Shulman

As a Palestinian, you make me happy.. because for the longest time we understood the western world was completely ignorant of our situation, thus would never understand that what is taken by force cannot be negotiated back by peace. I sincerely thank you for this very simple yet detailed informative content, and i hope that you keep going <3

Great video. My dad was 14 when he was ethnically cleansed from the west bank. At some point him and all my uncles, along with other kids, some younger than him, were lined up and held at gunpoint by the Israeli military until the mothers of the children started crying and begging, they let them go and expelled them out of the country. Both my parents are Palestinian, yet I've never been to Palestine, nor am I allowed to. Thank you for telling our story and for standing up for what's right.

I am 64 years old, and I have never been so emotionally exhausted over world events. I am feeling so much grief. Not only over the suffering of the Palestinian people but grief over the moral state of our Nation.

"How do we know this is a massacre or a genocide? Because the israelis told us they were going to do it, the ministers told us that they were going to starve the entire population of water, food, electricity, medical supplies, punish them all, they described them as human animals, the classic dehumanization which is the prelude to every single genocide that has ever taken place, where the president of israel said they are all responsible" - Richard Boyd, an Irish MP

"Evil cannot stand against the determination of the masses forever." Your perspective here gives me a little bit of hope I didn't know was there. Thank you.

"Evil doesn't win; it persists," is such an inspiring thought. Thank you

Native people don't destroy the land they love. That says it all.
  • When evil wins, they rewrite the story, recasting themselves as the hero. Its been this way for a LONG time.

I hear you and appreciate your instilling hope in us, but it still hurts that the only solution for those of us who lose family everyday is "one day history will redeem you." I dont wanna wait for history. I want my family to live now. Thank you nonetheless
  • The Irish kept fighting and resisting for 800 years until they won. That is what truly gives me hope.. As long as we keep fighting and resisting, there will always be hope for us.
  • 'Someone broke into my house and was holding me at gunpoint until the police arrived and negotiated a two-house solution wherein I get to keep the basement.'

Thank you for making this. We’ve been in the streets and contacting officials but I have been so disappointed at the lack of youtubers talking about it. Thank you

Such a young person - such moral clarity! It inspires hope!
