How Wine is Made in Bordeaux
Step by step explanation
A fun documentary @ Chateau Haut Goujon in Saint Emilion
chateauhautgoujon.com/en

Harvesting Grappes was my 1st job and to be able to go through the process of what it takes to make wine is something we have both wanted to do for a long time
We are so lucky that Valerie & Michael said yes and let us film this special process

What it takes to make a good wine is a lot of hard work & dedication and so much love ❤️ for what you do .
Valerie & Mickael do give their all to make amazing wines and some are even without sulphites
Their hard work paid off and they got awarded by #decanter
All of this whilst launching a new blend and special cuvée called #monbouquet
Needless to say the wine is amazing

  • Wine making fron soil to vine to grapes to harvest to processing the grapes , managing the fermentation, mixing, bottling, labels, then to finally enjoy the wine. What a many layered process that requires specific knowledge, laborers and equipment. Wow ! Thank you Ed and thank you Michael and Valerie ! 💖

Thank you, Michael and Valerie for showing us this wonderful process and to Edd and Anna for recording for us. I'm just glad that all we have to do is drink the wine and that... we enjoy very much.
  • Very interesting. Thanks for this vlog. What a production-now we see why wine is pricey. Lot of work goes into a bottle of wine. Well worth it!
  • Well done Ed & Anna. I’ve been wondering when you’d tell us more about your wine 💕🤗💕
  • Thankyou for sharing another wonderful vlog. An incredible journey of wine making. I certainly will appreciate drinking it , more than I will when it comes up again ❤️‍🩹🤣😂
  • I lived in Tuscany for quite a while and have been exposed to lots of wine information. This was an excellent addition to my knowledge base. I have a good friend who lives in Bordeaux I will be visiting in April hope to drop in to your wine tasting when I am there. Grazie Mille

This is going to be so interesting! Thank you for sharing. Cool, that is a lot of grapes to pick and dump into the tailor. Lovely clusters ... That was cool how it took the grapes from the clusters...
  • @kimward8322
Wow so interesting, goes along way from my dad making his wine in a demijohn and putting it in the bathroom airing cupboard to ferment for weeks on end.
  • It's great to see both of you again! Wine making is a lot of hard work!
  • @rsmith1820
I kill plastic plants so the explanation of how to encourage proper growth of the vines made my head spin a little The end results however was clear as dew. Thanks Anna & Ed always good to know how one of my favorite things comes into being.
