Converse shoes were like 10 bucks and terrible to wear when I was a kid and now they are like 60 bucks and still hurt your feet.
  • @Loregasmo
This dude just did a whole set based on a jacket. That’s impressive lmao.
  • Dude. That’s hysterical!!! - I always say that it’s cool to wear Carhartt until it’s time to do Carhartt work! You are dead on.
  • Carhart is the only pants that hold up to teenage boys. If we wore champion in the 90’s you were tormented

I remember being called out for wearing "highwaters" in the 90s if my jeans didn't touch my shoes. It was a problem for a growing kid. I still make sure to sit down in the fitting room to make sure my pants don't ride up too much. Things change, man!

This was a surprise. Clip started slow, waiting to find his voice... Then he did. Sounded like he enjoys Nate Bargatze & Chris Farley. He had some fresh takes on jokes though - would definitely watch a full show.

Oh man! I found this guy on John Christ's podcast a while back. It's good to see you on Dry Bar Derrick! I love your style. Great jokes!

This dude is hilarious! Can't wait to see more from him!
  • This guy has such an an artisanal way of putting together words! He escalates things from 0-100 with such ease! 😅

Champion shoes at Payless. NO high-waters. Gravel driveways and mustard and American cheese sandwiches.
  • I don't know if the physical arm movement and extra emotionality is an homage to Chris Farley or he was just heavily influenced by him but he incorporated it flawlessly . This was a great set .

I remember when Champion was the lowest of the sportswear brands. No one admitted to wearing Champion. Now it's in the high end stores like it's comparable to quality brands, lol.

I have a gravel driveway... Can't afford no Carhartt 🥴

Thanks, I needed this laugh today. Off to check out the whole set

I got a Carhartt jacket at farm and fleet a few years ago after searching EVERYWHERE for a basic black hoodie. Then I was shocked to learn I was cool. I thought I looked like a farm kid 😂
  • I live in Australia, and I remember even 8 years ago, Champion shoes were $25 at Payless shoes. I was in my early teens and those were my favorite shoes. I then realised it wasn't cool to wear them, so I got way more expensive adidas shoes. A year later, all of a sudden Champion became the choice clothing of many 'eshays' (an Aussie term for teens with mullets, expensive clothes and Nike TN's). It was the weirdest thing

"This smells like Aunt Shiela Mom, but it's in the package." This dude has me rollin 🤣
