  • Sorry this video wasn't quite up to snuff folks, I had like 45 minutes to make it lol. Didn't get to play beforehand more than 1-2 runs. One of those days, still they've got something big on their hands here this game is rad. I fixed the description. If you want to see me actually get gud I played for 4 hours on stream and beat most of the current content.

Classic Splat, recognizes the need to prioritize blocks, gets a radar to help him dig optimum paths...chooses to dig out every block anyway, even as lava fills the cavern...
  • @robyngraves9582
The fact that the weakening laser switches targets on its own after it weakens one enemy is fantastic, rather than the typical 'the affix turret will continue on one target until it's dead' setup I'm used to with these games.

i like how dome keeper has just up and spawned a new genre of gaming...
  • splat i like how you thought they were bugged then 3 secs later you had your miner unblock the entrance they just couldnt path down because there was no path
  • Just two minutes in this video, i don't know if i should shout 'Rock n' Stone' or 'For Democracy'.
  • @RustledBurritos
Very obvious inspiration, but different enough to be considered wholly unique in it's own right, looks like a good game
  • @Huwbacca
"I need to focus on red stuff" clicks every none-yield block in sight
  • @Auxius.
That's a lot like Dome Keeper I feel.
  • @RoseKindred
FYI, there is a Steam page for this game. I don't know when it went up but it was there when this video went out. Already wishlisted it.

I was like "Oh a Helldivers/Deep Rock Galactic like" then I was like "IT'S A STRATEGY GAME?! DAMN THAT'S COOL!"
  • @dastoex
As a group of seagulls once famously said, "Mine. Mine. Mine. Mine."
  • @LaserGadgets
You had me at "INDIE GAME BUG INFESTED NERDCASTLE"!
  • @peterkalafus9514
    - you got the option to get the red ore production technology as your first choice but you decided not to get it and chose a different tech instead - your haulers couldn't reach the ore lying on the floor since the exit was blocked, you wasted 2 iron by killing them - you can pause the game at any time so use radar ping an pause the game then mark the resources revealed by radar ping, there is limited number of orders so first mark the closest bunch and next day mark the next one
  • @Jasta85
At the end, the haulers couldn't go down because the path was blocked, the miners had to drill their way out.
  • @ESMOKER1980
One of thosse classic Splattercat videos where you just want to shout through the screen :)
  • 3 minutes in, I already love the concept, a mix of DRG, TD and colony builder with an indirectly controlled squad
  • @cefcephatus
Splat: "Why the haulers didn't go down, is it the bug?" Technically, Splat, it's the "bug web" blocking the entrance. And you fired employees with out recognizing that roadblock, classic workforce management.
