the most amazing part about rudeus's figurines is that some didnt use a base and were still able to stand up
  • In the novel I recall they mentioned that creating stone figures with high detail requires tonnes of mana and it means that he was practicing and leveling up his mana capacity when he was making figurines

The way you say Rudeus triggers me 😂😂

It should be noted that Rudeus Practicing making his figures did a lot more for him than you'd think. What makes those details so difficult, is that for some reason, the smaller scale you try to manipulate the scale to be, the more mana it costs. The smaller and more intricate a part you're trying to make, the harder or more flexible you try to make it, each action requires him to constantly funnel high levels of mana into the stone to shape it. He discovered that for some reason, making spells smaller makes them cost much more mana, just like making them bigger would, using water ball. His proficiency with earth magic definitely shot up, but he could expend and thus gain far more mana making figurines than any of his other magic, to the point that for a bit he was even able to expend his mana supply completely, until it outgrew this again. The fact that he outgrew it at all is insane because of the monstrous mana cost of making the dolls. Even making a relatively simple doll makes casting advanced rank magic look easy both in mana cost and skill. This is highlighted later on when some characters try to replicate his feats. Even very high level mages with voiceless incantation find it basically impossible to copy rudeus's accidental training method specifically because of how young he started.

I've read the novel. Man. Rudeus is literally life experience. When you read. It feels like you grow with him to his old age and experience all journey his had. Truly a masterpiece if i would say
  • In terms of power: Rudeus is tied with one other person for highest magic capacity, the problem is he doesn’t have the means to output his mana fast enough without destroying his body. Whats super cool about this world is that as busted as Rudeus seems, his enemies are even more so.
  • The thing is he never stated or wanted to be the “best”, he was always just satisfied with being good enough to get by

This is something I'd like to see more often, using the properties of physics to achieve a goal, usually more efficiently than just brute forcing it.

They say you never stop learning for your entire life, Mushoku tensei is a training arc

I think that the novels and the anime itself strongly imply that "amount of mana is determined at birth" is a missconception too. To me it seems like the show is telling us that the more you train mana at an early age the more mana you get as a grown up, that's why both Rudeus and Sylphy are incredibly powerful mages

Orsted said Rudeus had huge potential in magic(the limit of his mana storage is very big and he can easily learn magic because his body adapts to it) due to the Laplace factor which was in him
  • Nearly all of his power is capable for all people in the universe. His only real special skill is having an adult brain in a child body so he can apply his sponge brain.

dude was like I dont need an incantation circle, i have the periodic table of elements.
  • This was so informative and cool. I knew Rudeus was an amazing character. However, I didn’t realize how brilliant he actually was and how he applied science to magic. The anime didn’t really show the capacity of his knowledge that well. Thank you for this video! I look forward to seeing more! Subscribed! 💙

12:35 it's important to note that just like making spells bigger costs more mana, making spells smaller than a certain size also takes more mana

"Rudeus Greyrat is one of the more unique Isekai protagonist" Lmao uniquely very horni, that is

I loved the series ever since 2013, I'm glad that after ten whole years, the series finally got an anime adaptation. Just a crumb has been introduced in the anime, and I'm excited to see the reactions of new fans. Although, I wonder what people will think with all the more inappropriate scenes coming soon, I'm sure a lot of people might be disgusted. The author did an amazing job with balancing out love, slice of life, lore, action, and making sure that Rudeus maintains his humanity and isn't overpowered like most isekais. The author only focuses on this series, with multiple spin-offs like Roxy before she met Rudeus, and an explanation to a future opponent. I recommend reading the manga, as the manga has great art and visualization, while being ahead for 1 1/2 seasons worth, although, it's a monthy chapter series, so if you can't wait, read the light or web novels, that's how the much earlier fans know the story. I'm sad that the main series reached a conclusion, but I still loved the bitter sweet ending. I enjoy reading the manga and the spin-offs, while the anime is airing. video note:I know it's a narration mistake, but it still made me twitch when I heard the narrator pronounced Rudeus Greyrat.

Rudeus is basically like if someone got to become an incredible athlete because they somehow knew to start practicing right from birth. He has an adult level of understanding and ability to plan but a child's physical & neural plasticity
