  • Took a nice little break and a great vacation - the SSK003 was on my wrist the entire time. Feeling rejuvinated and ready to get back to making content! Have some exciting stuff prepared, stay tuned for more. What do you think about the Seiko 5 GMTs?

Just purchased this watch this past Friday and I’m loving it . I own the SKX009 as well. It’s cool having both the old school and this new SSK003 👍🏻

I just received my ssk003 today. I absolutely love it!
  • Beautiful 2 say the least! This is my first automatic hand wind watch ⌚️ and I love it
  • GMT movement, new and improved jubilee bracelet, hardlex on bezel and applied indices. This makes me want to run to my seiko AD.

Very nice video, thanks! I love GMT watches, and I heard a lot about the new Seiko. The hands are a bit stubby for such a large watch, but it's very nice. I wish I could have seen a bit more of turning the bezel - I was surprised you said it was a friction bezel with no click stops. So that means you have to align the hour yourself, correct?

Went to grab one today for a present for a buddy of mine and ended up getting one as well. May the watch addiction begin.

When I was Army, and traveling a whole lot, a GMT would have come in pretty handy (but at the time I was more of a chronometer guy) Now that I don't travel as much a GMT seems impractical. However, I do like this Seiko. I came in late to the "collection" game and missed out on the SKX (not gonna buy one on the secondary though). Really bummed about that because it seems every watch collector loves the SKX. 😢

I’m interested. I’m not digging the cyclops, but that can always be changed. Great vid

I jusr ordered my SSK001 although i have a SRPD
  • Absolutely love my 001. Unbeatable for the price. Microbrands will be rubbing their hands. Nice review.

To play devil’s advocate, the Swiss Made, smoother highbeat (28.8k) movement, Glycine GMT are available online in the same price range (even lower for careful shoppers). They are thinner (11mm) and also available in a variety of colors and in steel or bronze cases and 200m WR with a sapphire crystal and a screwdown crown. 7 strikes and you’re out.

Can't decide to buy this one or the dark manta king turtle
  • This watch is a cheat code. I have the Blueberry. Perfect for international travel. Won't get you killed, and it you lose it, you can just buy another one.
