The designer himself died just 10 years later, but the brand he created has gone from strength to strength. In 2017, the House of Dior will be 70. To celebrate this landmark, Discovering Dior takes an exclusive look behind the scenes of the fashion house today to find out about its present and its past.

I love the elegance of the early models. They had a smile that showed they enjoyed the beautiful clothes. Today the ladies literally frown and stomp down the catwalk. Some of the clothes they have to wear now must be the reason.
