Props to Igor for being willing to listen to criticism of their earlier relationship and be open about it. More men need to follow his example.

Ok, naysayers, I worked with a beautiful woman who married her HS boyfriend at a relatively young age. They didn't get on well together and divorced about a year in. They went about their lives and within 18 months they were married again and now have 3 beautiful children and are VERY happy. Sometimes you have to physically see/feel what you lost to really appreciate it.
  • I'm so happy for you! Thank you for talking about relationship issues, boundaries, and communication. They're so important and rarely talked about. Also, when men have low finances it's common for them to feel like they don't belong in a relationship. Unfortunately our culture promotes that false belief along with so many others. I'm glad y'all worked through it. And it's refreshing and helpful to be around healthy examples like you two.

You know Maya, you have a really good head on your shoulders. Extremely self-aware and well-spoken. After a few videos I came away not thinking of you as a label but as a human being. it has changed my thoughts quite a bit. I can relate to your human-ness.

This is not my usual type of channel I watch here.., usually Motorbikes, RVs and Travel, but somehow stumbled on one of your videos and was fascinated, so subscribed. I have been watching several more of them since and enjoy them as a 67 year old divorced and retired man enjoying life to the full. You are an extremely beautiful woman (with a sexy voice) and a very sensible head on your shoulders that you know how to use. I sincerely wish you much luck and happiness in whatever you do and wherever you go in your future life... you deserve it, having gone thru a lot more emotional turmoul in life than the most of us do. Look after yourself Maya and enjoy your time together with that lucky Guy you have found and managed to hang on to. Sincere greetings from Switzerland, Steve.

Failure and success are our teachers as long as you are receptive to the lessons they teach. Keeping an open mind and communicating are incredibly important. Both of you have said as much in this video. You have learned things. Now you just have to figure out how to best apply them to your own situation. One mistake I have made in some relationships is to hang on too long to one you know is failing. It can be the difference between remaining friends or not. Best of luck in 2020

I can relate to this so much! My husband ans I broke up once after being together for a few years but we came together and now we've been together 18 years in total and never been happier. The relationship is now so much better and as you said, it's all about communicating and appreciating what we have. I'm happy you guys found back to each other. The most important thing is that you're happy.
  • Maya & Igor - really glad to see you two back together. May you have much happiness & smooth sailing together in 2020 & beyond!

At the risk of being your oldest sub. I and my wife (then girlfriend) did the same thing when we first started dating, 35 years later still together so it can work. Good for you two.

I have had bad breakups, my two biggest loves felt as if death happened. Not eating and starving myself. Crying all the time. Not wanting to do anything and laying down all times. Miserable. Never recovering. No one seems to understand unless you have had it happened.
  • I’m glad your back together and you know more about your relationship than before, just be good to each other
  • That’s a beautiful story! At least, the aftermath. How you found your way back to each other and learned so much. So sweet! 😭 ❤️
