🌟 DESCRIPTION🌟

Developer NetherRealm Studios took an interesting approach to Quan Chi for Mortal Kombat 1, reimagining him as a “lazy, clever fighter” who doesn’t like to get his hands dirty. He relies on his supernatural powers instead of martial arts, summoning skeletons from the ground and tentacles from an interdimensional eldritch beast to do his fighting for him. In fact, Quan Chi’s uppercut move sees him summon a full human skeleton from the ground, which performs the uppercut on his behalf.

    I love the little detail of ghastly noises when Ermac talks, and how he has a filter that sort of "doubles" his voice, it sells off the fact that Ermac is supposed to be a construct, with numerous souls keeping him as one.

    I like the idea that, whenever Ermac speaks, the souls within are usually divided in what they say, so the body just utters the opinion they share most. That would imply there is always, like, a dozen souls that get offended that they are in the minority.
