Alfie’s just one of those characters where, when they enter the room you don’t know if you’ll be leaving with a deal, a broken bone, both or neither, and it’s great. Truly an unpredictable madman.

Hardy is the most unique among British actors. He is neither better nor worse. He's just different. Another level of acting. He is not playing a character. He creates it. Hardy just fills the screen and you can't take your eyes off him. I love it ❤

I love how when Billy Kitchen returns Alfie's gaze, then looks away, Alfie keeps gazing at him for an unnecessarily long time as if to state that he can do whatever he wants in his house. His power in that domain is unquestioned.
