    This turned out SO great!

Should have also tried putting a speaker under the "sand" and see what kinda patterns it makes. That would also help fluidize the powder.
  • @DeejayJeanP
17:09 whoever chose to put Darude - SANDstorm in the background is a f*cking genius
  • @Shy_Hulud
The Orchestral version of Sandstorm playing during the big hype up bit is just.... Chefs kiss. Good touch.

The gag of drinking the water from the suit after the Worm appeared without needing to audibly explain he had peed himself was perfect comedy!

9:20 "i photoscanned adam's worm" yeah, well i too photoscanned my 'worm'! you don't see me making a video about it!
  • @Later_Nerd
More of this guys. I know I've read everyone has been busy taking vacations and such, which you all deserve no doubt. But these kinds of videos where experience meets jank are exactly why I've been following you guys for so long. Also, give Jordan a raise because he has been putting in work since being hired. He's nearly the face of the channel now outside of reacts.
  • @Kalepsis
What you should've done is make an air hockey table and aerate the walnut shell dust from underneath, which is basically what the worm does in the movie. That would un-clump it and also give you the effect you're looking for when the worm pops up.

All these corridor guys probably grew up adoring mythbusters and Adam Savage and now they’re making an awesome show that is inspiring a new generation of filmmakers WITH Adam Savage. What a cool time to be alive

I loved the storytelling of this. Working on a passion project and running into brick walls with budget, time or ideas is so hard. Seeing them work through problems whilst keeping the spirits up and delivering a really fun making-of and product was great. The funny script and graphic design were the cherries on top. Long Live the Editors! Lisan al Gimbal!

"We're on the right track" on while Darude playing in the background. Chef's kiss, my boys!

Calling an Uber Sandworm: "Sandworms in your area are very busy. Why not try Harkonnen ornitopther?"
  • @KitGW
I love everything about this video. Your exploration of working with miniatures, your discussion of 3D scanning and the use of CGI, and most of all your humour. You two make a great team and your comedic timing is impeccable.

When Adam Savage compliments you, put that trophy on a shelf. You are da man!
  • @NeatMeik
Adam Savage is awesome! He was such a big part of my childhood.
  • @kroee
19:30 - Jordan taking a sip of water, implying that he pissed in his suit...
  • @KanuckStreams
I absolutely LOVE that practical effects are still being done. I have always and will always say that well-done practical effects are just amazing, and I could see it even before you got to your finished product, that with more time and work, you could make that practical effect using Adam Savage's worm be *beautiful*.
  • seeing these things, just shows me over and over, that real footage, married to cgi work, makes a amazing piece of art. dont kill the one bird when you already have two.
