Absolutely fearless on stage ! It's uncanny to witness a 10-year-old sounding like a seasoned professional on stage with a live band, live audience and also a TV audience of millions. This is what makes it so unbelievable. This girl was born to sing and this is exactly what she does. Sounding so mature adding her Jazz intuitions into the song and finishing with a soulful run. I want to thank you for continuing your wonderful Journey with our beautiful barefoot princess. I hope you keep on going on through the Journey and as all the Angels continue to watch your wonderful station. Keep posting my friend. Sending much thanks and love from Canada 👍🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
  • There is no one better than Angelina. As soon as you see Angelina do her little hair flip you know she's going to go off.

Voice of a generation. I love everything she does, but my personal preference is her live performances. She is actually better live than she is in the studio. You have to see her perform "What a Difference a Day Makes" There are three to choose from at ages, 8, 9 and 10. My personal favourite is age 9 on Singapore TV, but they are all fantastic.

Lauren, thanks for your reaction and analysis. Angelina is a self taught jazz singer but seemingly can sing any genre. She is also a awesome songwriter and arranger. Angelina created her own arrangement for each cover she has sung. She has told us she has written more than 100 songs and we have been blessed by 13 so far. Here is the list of her originals, along with a few songs she was the first to sing but didn't write. "What is Life" first sung at age 11. We don't know how old she was when she wrote each song. Age presented is her age when she first sang it. "Oslo" age 11 "Shield" age 12 "Million Miles" age 14 we know she wrote this one in the days after her maternal grandfather passed in 2019 when she was 13 "7th Heaven" age 15 "Love Don't Let Me Go" age 17 "Now I'm the Fool" age 17 "Fire and Rain" age 17 "It's All My Fault" age 17 "Good in Goodbyes" age 17 "Diamond" age 17 "Our Time" age 17 "Princess of Ruins" age 18 ..... only performed at her 2 shows in Las Vegas 2/29/24 Should include songs for which she was the first to sing "I'm Still Holding Out for You" age 10 .... considered one of her best vocal performances by many "Song for A" age 12 "Above the Water" a EDM song released January 31, 2020 "We're the Best" sung with RedOne at the FIFA Awards February 27, 2023 Angelina wrote new lyrics for two famous songs by Amy Winehouse, "Back to Black" and "Rehab" since it was inappropriate for a preteen to sing the original lyrics. For "Back to Black" Angelina wrote the new lyrics in the 24 hours prior to the recording, then needed just two takes.

She is ten (10) here! You easily forget that, don’t you?
  • @aryachow
Angelina is very comfortable on stage. That is her 2nd home. She is now an 18 year old 10 years veteran who towers over everyone both physically and musically. ❤❤❤❤❤
  • @jeri3808
Lauren, one of Angelina's songs that very few reactors hear is WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES. She sang it at age 8, just after winning NGT. The girl has NO fear. Listen to her entertain over a thousand fans at her home outdoor amphitheater. Incredible!!
  • @encrypter46
It isn't easy singing with a live band like that!!!
  • @most2dot0
I'd recommend you do her Bohemian Rhapsody at AGT next. It's amazing, and she confirmed in most of her concerts since 2022 that that rendition has changed her life in many beautiful ways (e.g., it led to her signing with Republic Records a couple month later). Then do either Love Don't Let Me Go, or Now I'm The Fool from her current EP of original songs. Both have music videos. The first was released prior to the rest, and is the most popular one, while the latter is of a more complex nature.

You said she could be in a movie, and she played a singer in a jazz club when she was 9 or 10 in the show Lillehammer and she got to perform for Steven Van Zandt. She has also opened for Norah Jones in Seoul at age 11, Quincy Jones 85th birthday concert in London (all of these videos are on You Tube) and David Foster among many, many others. I have had the pleasure of seeing her live in Portsmouth, NH for her US public headliner debut and both of her Las Vegas shows last February. I also got to meet her and she seems truly sweet and humble. Her live performances are so good that I listen to them as much as possible. As a musician for almost 60 years, I am so impressed with just how good she is live. I have read where she is a one shot artist in the studio; they just don’t have to correct anything she sings. She is so amazing; I am glad you have discovered her.

'Still a baby"who happens to be 6'1". Time to see what she can do today with my favorite original 'Now I'm The Fool' (Official Video) https://youtu.be/8BXCVY_-RmU?si=Skt0c0HSjJDd9F2s off her new EP of 6 new originals which she released last spring. Hold on to your seat. You really haven't seen anything yet. Continue down the Rabbit hole and you will. After that I would go back to her 4 performances on Norway's Got Talent. Do each separately and look for subtitles. Please do the whole video as it really paints a picture of where it all started. Also most are blown away at the incredible improvement over the several months of the competition. By the time she did 'What a Difference a Day Makes' at the Allsang Pa Grensen Jazz festival on stage in the middle of a huge audience of fellow Norwegians following NGT and just before she went to the USA where she performed 'Fly Me to the Moon' on The View with Rosie O'Donnell she had displayed the voice she has carried thru to today. By the time she did these her tone was refined and her performances were near flawless. Love the reactions. Beautiful 😊♥

I think the first sign that "we about to pop off" was actually seeing Angelina with a mic in her hand.😄 (I couldn't resist saying that, but actually, surprisingly often she will sing an entire song "in the pocket", as it were, without feeling the need to "go bigger" at any point [see, for example, "Cry Me a River" live at Prøysenfestivalen in 2017, when she was 11]. She has always had that kind of discipline — i.e., to just sing a song the way it should be sung — even years before this performance. It's one of the things that made her stand out so much when she first came to the world's attention on Norway's Got Talent .)

Thank you for another reaction to Angelina. In my opinion, she is the best singer in the world, and there are thousands of others who would agree with me, and I hope you will do many more - there are in excess of 200 from which to choose. Every moment you spend featuring her on your channel will being you great emotional satisfaction. There are so many things I get from this performance. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. (1) The realisation that at the age of 10 Angelina has shed all childishness from her voice. (2) A feeling that the placement of the spotlight at the beginning of her performance was deliberate. If it was, then, to my mind, it was a brilliant move. (3) The fact that Angelina arranged this song and that the band kept out of the way and let her voice be the focus. (4) The incredible low note she sang for the word "good" at the beginning and end of the performance. (5) That wonderful crescendo at the end. (6) The was Angelina used her left arm and hand throughout the performance (7) The way she changed the microphone from her right hand to left hand, so that she could flip her hair back with her right hand. (8) The cheeky smile she gave to the cameraman when she realised he had focused on her at about 4.30 in your reaction video. (9) The sideways look and grin she gives to her instrumentalists just after she curtsies to the audience -- as if to say, "Yeah, we killed it, guys! Now let's go get some ice cream!" (10) The almost instantaneous switch from "performance" mode to that of a young child, who curtseyed and gave a sweet smile to the audience as an acknowledgement of their applause. Others have commented that the performance by Nina Simone should be considered the "gold" standard for this song. Until recently, I had never watched her performance, but have now done so. They just cannot be compared, for Angelina's arrangement is totally different
  • Thanks for the beautiful reaction to this extraordinary performance by Angelina. Her very personal reading of this classic, which she developed on her own in the previous years (?!?), is sensational not only for a 10 year old girl, but also for an adult, there is not only her understanding of the musical texture of the song, but also the ability to change it in this very personal way. This girl's natural talent is simply unreal also for the spontaneity and naturalness with which she uses it and that ending is simply unique.💛🧡❤ I'm adding two link of her piano sessions of this song, 2 years before this show (at only 8 years), to also understand how a fantastic young artist works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQbyK_frFiw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdN2dNS1NzQ

Thank you for a great reaction to our mini jazz queen (only mini in body) this was her arrangement as well and my favourite version of this song , about 4 1/2 years ago I didn't expect a 10 year old would perform my favourite version of a song and then many more at all different ages, so glad you acknowledged her ohmage to the song , That is Angelina a true artist , art comes first , she doesn't show off , only really belts if it meets her vision for the song , feeling has been innate within her since a child, and she is an elite storyteller, she is full of details and subtleties that most miss because now seems every one is obsessed with belting as if that is the bench mark for greatness. She is an old soul , want's to create timeless music/songs with meaningful lyrics, and to spread love and kindness throughout the world , so obviously we are with her every step , our wonderful AJ😊💜👣💎

Nina Simone's rendition is considered by most to be 'The Gold Standard'. That said, and agreed to, this is to me 'The Platinum Standard' for the song. Her arrangement is magnificent as the orchestra follows the directions she set forth with regard to when specific instruments are to come forth.
  • @McDevittMike
Check out her NGT performances, all 4 of them; you know right then she's gonna be outstanding. She 7 and 8 there and singing jazz classics, difficult ones. They're simply amazing. 😎
  • @FlameCold258
Angelina Jordan, the young living legend! 😊😊

I highly recommend watching “Every Time We Say Goodbye” whether you do a reaction video to it or not. In my opinion it’s one of her best younger live performances (I believe she was 11) and is criminally underrated. I never see people talking about it but to me she truly embodies an angel in that video. Everything about it, her body language, the way she delivers the song, the gentle breeze, the open sky on the rooftop, the guitar …. brings such peace. It’s very sweet, calming, and you can see how much her technique has developed yet she’s still SO young. Her love for music is very apparent in that video and it also highlights her talent for transferring that feeling of love and peace onto everyone around her. If I remember what I read correctly, she sang that song in reference to leaving Oslo whenever she traveled to LA for work. I’m sure someone will correct me if I got that wrong. But seriously that one is definitely worth watching.
