Day Trip In Hokkaido | Biei Blue Pond | Farm Tomita Furano

Hi guys, we are in Hokkaido for an adventure. In this video, we took a day trip from Asahikawa to Biei to visit the Blue Pond and for our last destination, we did a little walk in Furano to the Farm Tomita.

We used our JR Furano pass from Asahikawa to Biei JR station.
From there, we took a local bus to the Blue Pond. The local bus cost 550 Yen per person to the Blue Pond. Please make sure you have 100 yen coins as they do not accept big notes or 500 coin Yen. I believe this local bus also brings you to the Shirogane Onsen. Due to Japan in the Summer season, we decided not to go to the Shirogane Onsen.

We had to head back to Biei using the same local bus to go to Farm Tomita Furano. From there, we took the JR train and stopped at Nakafurano which was the closest stop for us at that time to go to Farm Tomita. We did a short walk which is super pleasant as we were able to see local houses and also the beautiful mountain scenery.

On our way back, we took the special Furano-Biei Norokko-go train on the JR Furano Line stops at this station only in summer. If you are using the JR Furano pass, you do not need to pay for this special summer train.
