I apologize for the small editing error at 54:56 which lead to double Lyra hullabaloo. Nobody deserves double Lyra hullabaloo.
  • @bluie639
Lyra, I respect your dedication and love for Pokemon, but it still boggles my mind how you tried to Earthquake a Gyarados
  • @tomroutson9039
Lyra is hilarious because on one hand Lyra seems to know pokemon on a data level better than anybody but on a gameplay level Lyra has no clue how to battle.
  • @Qbe_Root
"I think I forgot something." "If you forgot, then it wasn't important." "Yeah, you're right." *cut to Scizor waiting out in the rain*
  • @Goos3rs
"man i wonder why im losing against this combusken so much" >uses a pokemon 10 levels under combusken
  • @Disguised_Cat
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU PLAYED THIS AND NOT REMEMBERED GYARADOS' TYPING?!
  • 10:24 "Not even a mythical Pokemon can save us from the ordeal that is the second rival fight" that's because Jirachi is half Combusken's level
  • ...generation 3 is definitely going to be your worst hurdle. Starting from generation 4 onwards, they actively try to make sure you have some form of breathing room, and by gen 5, you don't even need to touch a spinoff
  • @deltaquarayza
Terra/Marine Cave are how roaming legendaries should have always been. Their location changes, but once you find them, you can catch them uninterrupted.
  • @ltjgambrose
Gyarados is based on a myth about carp who were strong enough to not only swim upriver, but jump over the dragon gate. Passing that test granted them ability to fly, and those flying carp were dragons. Which is to say: They didn't "turn into dragons" and that let them fly, Chinese "dragons" are the carp version of Superman. They're fish that fly first, and "dragons" second.
  • Congratulations, Lyra! You finished the hard part! Gen 3 is notorious for having a near-impossible Pokedex. Good job.
  • @AnyThingWorx
how does bro do two full living dexes and think Gyarados is dragon type ?
  • @azazel166
Don't tap out now, not when you have 4 more generations to fill up. And by 4, I mean the remaining ones where you can "catch 'em all" from Bulbasaur to God, Genesect, Volcanion and Zeraora.
  • @excalibur493
Fun fact: there was an oddity with the bridge on Feebas' river, so with ORAS, they made the underside of it a guaranteed spawn for Feebas.
  • @gtc1554
Yk ur a dedicated poketuber when you forget Gyarados is a flying type and still tell your audience
  • @Wizzkidwas
You struggle with grass starters because you don't really get supporting pokemon to vary your team and when you do they're 10 levels lower than the foes Level is part ofthe damage calculation, so you take a lot more damage when lower leveled
  • @TWitWoW
you struggle with grass type starters because you don't bother to catch anything to cover their weaknesses. Literally use a geodude and you're set.
  • @justinr.507
So birch reaction to you completing the national dex is like "cool, anyway."
  • @Laprisu
Lyra.... you have played Gen 1 and Gen 2, if not so many more games HOW DID YOU FORGET THAT GYRADAOS IS PART FLYING???????
