We've just gone through a 6 week heat wave, but even so, there is lots to pick to make bouquets with. Some flowers have finished, others are just starting and there are even a few surprises.

Strawberries: I'm re-thinking my strawberry bed as well. I have the bed caged with chickenwire and the chipmunks are enjoying the private fruit store. So I think I'll revamp the bed and use 1/4" hardware cloth for the cage or maybe just put some of them in a large pot.

Thanks for the tour Evelyn. I just cut myself some dahlias before we get the stormy weather. Have you ever grown the A La Mode dahlia? It is one of my favorites and blooms like crazy.

Hi my glads are just starting to spike, they are late usually they are flowering by now. Black sea glads are darker them expresso glads 😊
