I did see your and Martika's new look pattern hauls and the peer pressure was too much and I end up devouring 30 minutes out my wat to get to two different hobby lobby stores. I think that means you two should do a few sew alongside on patterns we got in common.

Your dress is so cute and you have the perfect choice of fabric. So pretty❤
  • Hot hot hot. I made this dress a few days ago too! I'm excited to wear this summer. Great job! You look FABULOUS!

Love your dress! You look fabulous! I agree...this New Look is definitely a "Tried and True" for me too! I made it last July for a trip to Palm Coast, Florida. So fast and easy and perfect for casual or dressing up. I made the tank dress version from an ice blue and white design cotton/viscose blend from Mood. Love it! Planning to make the V-Neck version for this Summer. The Hobby Lobby where I lived was super picked over as far as New Look patterns are concerned. I made a list of 6 but only got 4. The sales clerks told me about ladies who bought 50, 60 and 70 patterns at a time 😳🥺 Bummer! My limit was 10. Will try another location 35 miles up the road from me to see if they have anything left. It's a great deal so I'm glad you could score those patterns! Always love your videos and makes. Happy Sewing! ☺💖

Love it!!!! I also got some New Look patterns. I used my patterns like master patterns or in fashion designing school they call them pattern slopers. It's fun this way because you can design whatever you want your garments to be and you don't have to spend so much money on patterns. I also live in Illinois, the suburbs which is Zion. I went to school for fashion designing in Chicago. I sew and do alterations as a side hustle and I work for the school district part-time. Keep up the amazing tutorials and do more collaboration. Love it 😍!!! Have a wonderful day and stay CREATIVE 😊 Robin N Otis -Clayborne

This fabric is nice. Can you make a facing that acts as bust support like a bando?

So chic! & only about an hours work?! That’s such a win 🎉
