I wanted to add this comment to help people who have new battery alarm issue without key faub. Mine was a Honda crv 2009, I only had the vallet key so I tried all kinds of stuff. Until Honda dealer told me just insert the key in the driver door and turn until alarm stops. Worked like a charm after months of searching for a module, reset button, etc.... good luck

Thank you very much for posting this great video. I am sure that it has saved many of us a lot of money and certainly a lot of frustration.

Thank you so much to all the commentators that suggested to insert the key on the driver side door and turn it. I was at my wits end trying to shut off my alarm. I only have the valet key. Thank you very very very much.

I have a 08 avenger rt, drove it home just fine. After put a new battery in the alarm randomly guess off. I don't see a button for alarm either. Anyone know a possible solution to the dumbest thing they could have done to a vehicle lol?

I have never seen that button in my 2002 Nissan Maxima.

I have an Infinity 2013 JX35 and was having the same type of problem. When trying to jump start, the emergency horn kept activating. When I put the key in the driver door lock and closed the door and turned the key the horn stopped blowing. Hope someone finds this type helpful!
