I just think its hilarious that they want us to think this current legal action has nothing to do with the 115 charges when some of the charges are to do with inflated sponsorships from parties associated with the owners and theyre suing to change that very rule. Its just insulting to our intelligence.

Liverpool and arsenal should sue city for their earnings they would have got for winning their leagues

My club (Swindon) were demoted 2 division for “financial irregularities”. What City have done is a million times worse. They need kicking out of the league and placed in the conference.

man citys situation makes it so clear why they wanted a super league lol
  • @gazala
This guy used to work for man city so anything he says should be taken with a pinch of salt

City getting relegated is a good scenario, full stop. The alternative of brushing it under rug is far, far worse than whatever plays out from punishing city. Has to happen.
  • @ezradja
Mourinho got one, Ole got two, Klopp got three, and Arteta got one. Plenty happy lads.

I hate to admit it, but more worthy than financial advantages, is the revolutionary tactically advanced team Guardiola has built. IMS they’ve consistently been the best club on the planet for the last couple of yrs. Real had to play like Stoke to get past City. They've elevated the levels of Liverpool & Arsenal & the standard of the entire league

  • @artminusme
Disappointed in your thumbnail, ur just like the rest of the media that already see City as guilty
  • Its interesting to me that football fans seem to think this is anything new Real Madrids team in the 1950s were funded by Spanish dictator Tito AC Milan in the 70s and 80s were recieivng money under the table from the Italian Prime Minister State funded football is nothing new... The best clubs have been gaining an 'unfair advantage' since football began... Football heritage is practically a myth

Being a Chelsea supporter, I was a little dismayed at Todd Boehly circumventing the existing rules regarding dishing out 8 year contracts on new transfers. It then came to light, that in fact, he was just utilizing an opportunity to use the rules to his own clubs advantage. The PL looked at this, did not like it, and changed the rule. Which is no different to the rules that were brought in regarding Manchester City and others wishing to get around different rules that would be beneficial to their club. The PL have got the right to adjust any rule they so wish, regardless of whether it be `legal` or not, because they wish to try and keep the product sustainable and competitive, as well as fair to all clubs. The whole ethos of FFP and Profit and Sustainability rules are in reality illegal, based on restriction of trade. So by law, those should be scrapped completely. No doubt that will be next from Manchester City, and then the whole pyramid of football would come crashing down. Rules are rules, abide by them or sell up. Manchester City are trying to bully the PL, which cannot be allowed to succeed, based on the tyranny of one.

City will buy their way out of trouble as usual
