I couldn’t help but notice that the fossil and ghost forms of missingno use the letters w, x, and y to trigger their appearance, so next in line would be z... referring to porygon-z, and it also being the “final” version of the glitch

Cinnabar Island gets bugged because the one line of tiles on the right hand side has no encounter data of its own, so wherever you were last gets put in its place. The encounter data for the Old Man teaching you to catch pokemon is the buggiest!

Love how in english missing no. is 10 feet tall but in japanese it's only 1 meter

I was always hoping Gamefreak would eventually fold Missingno into lore and directly reference it in-game.

Random fun fact: porygon Z and gallade are right next to each other in the national dex and their shinys are the same colors

I like the idea of Missingno being an earlier version and after being disregarded finds a way to escape, roaming around Cinnabar. I remember loving messing with the Missingno glitch when I was younger. Either catching it or using it to get 99x rare candies and Master Balls. Lol

The plot thickens with Lockstin's backstory. His formative introduction to the N64 occurred during a hospital stay in his youth, presumably something major enough as to have an extended stay that would necessitate some form of entertainment to preoccupy a child. He's shared so much like in his weight loss video!

I always headcannoned MissingNo. as being the bug that occured when the Mew cloning experiment glitched and instead of producing Dittos produced Mewtwo through Blaine putting his cells in the mix

My favorite missing no. theory is about it just being the evolution code for Marowak to evolve into Kangaskhan. Always been a favorite of mine.

Imagine they do add MissingNO in the future, and to get it you need to get a BadEgg from a Porygon. Cute way to poke fun at the history of bugs in Pokemon

i always liked the theory that the Dubious Disk had a computer virus on it, and that Porygon Z is Porygon infected or controlled by said virus.
