Documentary film about the last nomadic reindeer herder family in the extreme cold, preserving a way of life unchanged for thousands of years. Far from modern civilization, they follow ancient traditions in one of the harshest environments on Earth. We traveled 1300 km by car along some of the most dangerous roads on the planet, and battled intense snowstorms to show you the life of one of the last families of reindeer herders.

as an indigenous sami from northern sweden ( reindeer herders in scandinavia) this is so fun to see how we are like the same with cloths and food and how to herd.

It's mind-boggling that these are real people living and working right now on this planet. Thank you for such an enlightening and heartwarming story. May you and these people be blessed!
  • Your videos are so comforting to me. I used to live in Russia 20 years ago but now, relations between our countires seem at such a low, I despair of ever going back. Seeing the country again through you is amazing, so thank you.
  • Thanks for these culturally rich videos from the coldest part of this earth. We all live on this same planet but with different landscapes and environmental conditions. It's only love that connects us all ❤ Thanks Kiun B for these really warm videos. Love from India 🇮🇳

The production value of this piece reminds me of a special on either HBO , Discovery, Nat geo. Netflix etc… Truly, a very insightful piece with magnificent narration.

Seeing all these happy people in such hard conditions helps put my own struggles into perspective. It makes me realize that you can be happy no matter what! Although, it is easier if you live in nature.

Despite the harshness of nature, spending a day among reindeer with family and sleeping in a tent sounds lovely

Your videos always have inspiring family where everyone is responsible and helping out each other. In my country, it's so common for children to do nothing but studying. My nephews never have to touch any chores. Never even have to tidy up their own plates and take it away. Just eat and leave them on the table. I honestly have no idea what they will grow up to be like. I sincerely hope they learn something when they eventually have to leave home and doting parents. I wish my culture had put more emphasis on building a good character. We used to do that, as I remember old textbooks in my time teaching about honestly, helping parents and the likes. These things don't exist anymore in modern curriculum for some reason.
  • First one up, last one to bed. That's what my mom did too. She couldn't go to sleep until she knew that all her children were safe at home
  • Now that's the kind of society I love° there just so simple and don't take anything for granted and work so hard with much appreciation and respect!!
